The Silt Historical Park is a collection of historical buildings from around the area. Each building has appropriate furnishing for the early 1900's.
The Silt Historical Society owns and operates the Silt Historical Park. The Park was started in the early 1980's on land donated by the School Board. The Library Board donated a modular building that had been the Silt Library, and is now our office and museum. The Park is open from May 1 to October 31, Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5:00pm and at any other time for special events. All activities at the Park are accomplished by volunteers. By agreement with the School Board all activities at the Park are free to the public. We operate on donations and grants only. In 2012 we started having free family oriented events at the Park. The frequency of these events and their success has grown since then. Please visit our website for more on the Park: www.silthistoricalpark.com
