It just okay. Room was okay. We did have a nice view. The bed looks comfy but its not. And the pillows were so worn out. The shower did not have soap and hardly any shampoo. It's a good thing we brought some leftovers toiletry from our previous trips. The restaurant Silver Reef cafe was good for breakfast. Menus selections not so good if you're vegetarian. You probably don't want to gamble because the machines were extremely tight. . I did not bother using my cards because either way doesn't do any good. Stayed 2 nights and that was good enough. Meet up with friends and they played golf and played at the casino as well. Long drive for nothing for me.
The staff and food consistently exceeded my expectations for a resort-style location. I was here for a conference, and the buffet-style food for our party of about three-hundred was generous and delicious. All the restaurants in the resort were delicious and well portioned. As I stayed in the hotel for the weekend, I enjoyed watching the sunset from my west-facing room on the 5th floor of the North Tower, as well as taking advantage of pool, gym, and steam sauna access. They set my expectations high, so I look forward to our conference next year, hopefully in the same location, though I do enjoy seeing new places and having opportunities for new experiences. Gamblers remember: never gamble what you can't afford to lose, and the potential for high reward is built on a foundation of high risk. May you enjoy the Luck that you deserve!
Not sure if it's 5-star but I didn't have much to complain about so 5-star it is. The bed was great... not too firm or soft. I slept great! The in-room amenities were basic but they provided a microwave when we needed it. Everything in the room was quiet...no buzzing. I only heard people once but that was when my neighbor left. The doors do slam because they are so loud but my door noise bothered me more then what came from other rooms. The shower was huge and easy to get in and out. I'm handicap so not having to step into a tub was nice. The scent for the in-room shampoo etc is blood orange and it was actually a nice change. There isn't a lot of handicap parking nor is it close to the resort entrance. The walk to the casino is a little long too but they have plenty of benches to rest along the way. At least it was all indoors so you didn't freeze on your way over. Lots of great food with many choices of where to eat. I'd say 60-70% off the slots I played were just loose enough to allow me to play for awhile so you don't feel as bad when you lose lol. I know I had fun and I'll definitely be back.
I enjoyed my stay very much. I had never been to this casino before but was dropping my nephew off at Western And my sister and I decided to make the 20-minute trip to silver reef casino. I really enjoyed the casino I actually did very well at one of the games on my way out of the casino while I was waiting for the food that we had ordered. They had a nice rewards card that I signed up for and received $5 in free play on. On our way out like I said I was waiting for my food and playing one of the slot machines and ended up winning the grand prize on the slot machine for $53,000. I couldn't believe that this has had happened and was in quite a state of shock. The only negative thing I have to say about this casino was that it took quite a while for anybody to help me after I had won the jackpot. But once I was being helped the staff was ultimately concerned for my safety and had security detail follow me wherever I went after getting paid out. They also caught me a room at the hotel so I was able to see the beautiful hotel that seemed brand new and all it's amenities. My sister and I enjoyed the room which was gorgeous comfortable and the staff was top-notch. I will recommend this casino and hotel for years to come it was such a wonderful experience I cannot believe that I had such an amazing evening that culminated in such a huge win.
We remembered that the Silver Reef Casino has fantastic waygu beef hamburgers 5 years ago. We went specifically for the food and to watch the football games. To my surprise the main casino is non-smoking; l didn't need to wear a hat to keep the smoke off my hair! We had the hamburgers and hot wings and pizza. The fries were crisp and tasty! We ate way too much. Alas the locals call the casino the Silver thief and we only a deposit. However our entertainment money was well spent!
Nothing is open for food, your choices are pizza or their version of Panda Express. Steak house said they only do reservations and that 2 weeks out, but out of 8 tables I saw only 1 was open, buffet is closed. I get that it's hard to find employees, but casinos are infinitely profitable. Pay your people better and it won't be a problem.
Always fun to watch the Hawks faithful cheer their team on at the reed. I drove down to watch the Munich game facebook said the Sports Bar & Theater would be open in the Sports Bar as the theater was NOT open. It was still a good time and the fans were supportive in this losing effort. I do hope they open the theater for the next game....
The last 3 times been here , lucky to get a bonus , oh got one , won 40 cents on a 2 dollar bet with a bunis with in a bonus. Get bonuses and win nothing , it becoming a joke. Yeah maybe 1 day it may happen but 3 times in a row? Not in a hurry to go back. Also went from 2 free nights any day of the week including weekends to 1 night during the week
I was snapped at for checking to see if room was ready at around 1:30. When I booked reservations they said to come check when I got in town. The second front guest lady wasn’t any better. Rooms aren’t anything great. The room reminds me a Super 8. They charge you 100 dollars deposit right off bat rather than just put a hold like most motels. Does this place have any amenities? No clue. The front desk just mentioned the casino. No microwave.
We stayed overnight for the Tone Loc concert. Great venue! Drinks were accessible, security was cool and the crowd was fun. Our hotel room was modern, clean and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. Lots of tasty choices, from fine dining to quick & affordable. The shower in our King Room got hot quickly and sprayed nicely-pressured water from faucets overhead and from the wall. This was a new and awesome experience. The best part? After the concert I realized I lost my money clip while galavanting around. It had my ID and $200+ cash. Fortunately, it was found by an incredible employee named Boris, cash and all! I think he worked security. Super impressive. His care, integrity and honesty made a great time even greater. Thank you, Silver Reef and Boris!!!
