Been trying for nearly a year to schedule surgery. Multiple calls and voice mails went unanswered. Finally got surgery dates a couple of months ago, but was notified shortly afterwards dr cannot do required followup because of scheduling conflict. I was asked to call to reschedule. But since no one answers the phones or return calls I have been unable to reschedule. Im trying to cancel the surgery with this dr. And Im looking for a new ophthalmologist.
Showed up at for a 9:45 appointment and was called back at 11:15am. Entire waiting room was complaining that this is typical. There are better places that accept insurance. AVOID!
We have been with this practice for over a decade but we are changing to a new eye doctor because it is impossible to make contact with the office. I have called multiple times over the past month and a half; either the phone rings without answer or I am able to leave a message on the answering device but have never gotten a call back. Today- someone answered the phone and immediately put me on hold!
I called and my friend told me I should leave a review after response from receptionist on phone. She acts like she doesn’t like the her job. Just called to ask if they had availability for appointments and she seemed confused and was weirdly rude for someone in customer service.
Very hard to reach someone on the phone, have to call multiple times, phone just does not get picked up. Bad follow up, was promised that I will be called back with update twice, and after three weeks of wait after each call - no follow-up whatsoever! Trying to do my third reminder, but cannot reach a live person. Doctors might be great, but hard to prove it when office does not function well. Time to look for a new doctor!
I was seen on 19October 2021 The Office is great, the staff are friendly but the Ophthalmologist's Dr Gupta practice is not acceptable at all...totally! She based her treatment on what the technician wrote. The tech took history and I told her that in the past I had dry eyes but completely better now; Dr Gupta said that my eyes are normal and gave lists of medications for dry eyes!!! The tech said that she can do the refraction of my eyes but Dr Gupta came in and said, "Oh no! no! no! we do not have time for that, we are too busy, you need to see an outside optometrist for that." GUESS WHAT?? the bill came and there was a charge for refraction!!! AND I REALLY FELT HURRIED! She is very poor in her examination's performance but very very good in making charges. What a doctor, huh!?!?!
My mother comes here but unfortunately the service wait time is extremely long. If you have an appointment expect to be seen 45 minutes after your appointment so be prepared to be there about 2-3 hours. Also when you schedule an appointment don’t be surprised if it is changed multiple times. My mother’s glasses the lens were also scratch up after they were checked by one of the technicians. They had nothing to say and we ended up ditching out 400.00 to get a new pair. Just giving you a heads up on what to expect.
I called and waited for weeks for a prescription refill with no response, multiple times. This response time is beyond unacceptable it's dangerous. I like Dr Yau but im looking for a new eye doctor if this doesn't change
Dr. Lyons has been my opthamologist for 20+ years! He is a stellar communicator and an excellent listener! He has a calm confident demeanor that puts one at ease immediately! Everything about his office is smooth, serene and stess-free! I have referred many folks to him and they always let me know how pleased they have been!
Can't get anyone to pick up the phone or call me back... if a manager or an owner sees this review please give me a number that I can call and it'll be answered. Thanks. I'm changing my review after my visit with Dr. Yau. I've told him about my complaint and my visit with this center has been great so far. Very professional...
