Nice park with beautiful views. Sites are a little close together and there are water issues with heavy rains. We got up one morning surrounded by water. As other reviews have said the afternoon gentleman and the ladies are wonderful to deal with. The owner Denny was very accommodating to us. The morning desk guy is not pleasant to deal with. Would give 5 stars if not for him. Try avoiding dealing with him and you will have better out comes.
Nice RV park with green grass. Gravel pads are narrow and straight in, but nicely spaced from neighbors. All roads in town are unpaved except for the main street, so it can be dusty. Great view of the railroad arrivals and departures.
Great campground. Perfect spot for our RV while exploring Silverton
Park was overall good, but spaces were much tighter than I would prefer, even for my little 19' trailer. It was very difficult to get my trailer with slide out positioned just right. Off grass on one side but not hitting electrical box on other side. Once it was positioned, there wasn't quite enough space to park my pickup on the gravel without the nose or tail sticking out into the road, so I had to move it periodically for other people who were trying to maneuver their rigs into adjacent tight spaces. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was neat and clean. Lots of great attractions nearby. Site wasn't quite level, which didn't help with ease of setup. I want to give it four stars, but there were just too many compromises on space to be 4-star comfortable. But again, the staff was great and overall it was a good experience.
Great campsite and very welcoming team. Super clean facilities and lots of local advice. Best RV park we’ve stayed at!!
So disappointed. We had made reservations with them for spots one and two. Got there and they wanted to squeeze us between some big rigs. We were told that things are subject to change. They couldn’t care less. This would have been our third trip to stay there. I am happy to say Silverlakes was was happy to accommodate us. Silver Summit didn’t seem to care if we stayed there or not. There excuse was the water wasn’t turned on. Well they could have let us know that before we made our trip.
We rented a jeep from Silver Summit and had to cancel last minute due to a medical emergency. They showed kindness and understanding to us that we will never forget. We thank them and for their compassion.
Great place to RV camp with full hook ups in Silverton. Denny who owns the place is very nice and helpful. You can rent a jeep and go 4x4-ing to Engineer Pass and Animus Forks. My favorite place in Colorado.
Had a BLAST... Good Jeeps, clean and reliable. The folks explained everything to us on operating the jeeps we rented two and our dogs were able to enjoy it with us.
Forget the internet , it never worked right the day we stayed Their excuse was too many people on it . Well up graded it spaces small , water and sewer at end , not in the center . Not good for 40 + ft . Has cable tv outlet but hasn’t worked in years . The two men in morning seemed rude , the afternoon had a different man was much more attentive.
