Time management is a huge issue here. They are always running behind on their schedule. I wasn't seen until 28 minutes past my appointment time even then they were still running behind. They didn't have utensils cleaned for the appointment. Needless to say after being there for an hour we never accomplished my cleaning and had to leave due to another appointment I needed to get to. Don't waste your time unless you have your whole afternoon available to be waiting to be seen.I gave a 2 star due to the fact that the front desk was nice. I still needed to schedule a cleaning so I requested to see a different dentist when making the request the front desk staff told me that the dentist I had been scheduled with would also not like to see me. I'm unsure why but if that was the case that could have been left unsaid and more forward to schedule with another provider. I will not be returning to this place I don't feel comfortable and feel judgment. Makes me wonder if that's why this location has such a high turnover in staff and providers.
The staff at Silverdale Smiles are the best! They make sure you are comfortable and are pros at handling patients with anxiety! I felt like part of the smile family! Dr. Hsu has a skilled and gentle hand! This is the only place I feel comfortable getting care! They are the best!
Been there once…never again. VERY EXPENSIVE. And they didn’t even do a thorough cleaning to my wife and I. I went to a difference dentist and the doctor told us that they didn’t do a good job cleaning. I didn’t have a lot of things done. Pretty much a normal cleaning and a little irrigation. I pay 150 for the irrigation and then I see all the claims they did and it’s a whole page of stuff. I will be keeping my Eob to go over what they are saying because this is crazy. DO NOT GO HERE.
I was impressed with their service. My Doctor was SO busy and they squeezed me in. I was very happy with the clarity and break down of the insurance coverage benefits, Service recommendation and when rescheduling. I saw Dr. Ishita Masand. Would highly recommend. The support staff was so helpful as well. Thank you so much
Carrie at the front desk, Illssa, and Dr. Hsu along with anyone I’ve talked to, I just cannot recall their names have all been amazingly helpful, positive, and great. Special shout-out to Illissa, who was phenomenal with our 7 year old son. I was so impressed with how she interacted with him. The only reason it’s 4 not 5 starts was because with my appointment they were about 35 minutes behind, and with my son over an hour behind. 2 hours for a dental cleaning with a 7 year old is tough, but, I totally understand sometimes people are understaffed etc so I’m absolutely willing to chalk it up to that! Overall, very solid experience. They also handled a really tricky situation/upset patient with grace and kindness. They went above and beyond to do the right thing by this patient, and I could tell they were absolutely sincere and it was just an unfortunate situation.
Horrible customer service. I’m an established patient, called them at 8:18 AM after a sleepless night of constant tooth pain, and was told they could see me today at 12. That was perfect as I could get in and out before my kids were out of school, so I waited instead of immediately going to urgent care for the pain. Get there and I’m told I spoke to a call center and they can’t do anything for me it was the call center’s mistake for telling me to come in. At that point I was clearly frustrated and in pain so my voice raised a few decibelsdefinitely not a yell though and was immediately told to “lower my voice or leave” I found a great new office within ten minutes of leaving their office who will see me first thing in the AM. Still sooner than silverdale smiles I wouldn’t recommend this dental office to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY
Very slow and leaves you waiting. Three of my family members had the same experience on three separate occasions. Plan on being here for hours. Very different experience from my last dentist, I will be finding an new one.
I have been coming to Silverdale Smiles for several years now and am very pleased with their professionalism and courtesy. I especially recommend Alyssa for a wonderful experience in dental cleaning!
Doctor Skipper and his assistant Taylor were great at making me feel comfortable, informed, and optimistic. I don't dread coming back to the dentist any more.
So very disappointed in the lack of availability of services. I was a regularly scheduled patient and my Dr. Left unexpectedly. Since then I haven't been able to schedule an appointment. I scheduled this last appointment in February for 16 June 1st available called them on 2 June to make sure everything was good to go for 16 June appt. They had to reschedule again the first available was the end of September. So as of 2 June they are scheduling for 4 months out for existing patients after they canceled my last three appointments. If I had not called two weeks before my supposedly scheduled appointment who knows when they would have notified me and when they would have scheduled me for?? Silverdale smiles is not providing an adequate service to this community. Time to find a new provider. I do have to say the treatment received by the doctor that suddenly left was very good and would continue with him if he were there and if I were able to get an appointment.
