"Silvio's Brazilian BBQ is located in the heart of the South Bay just steps from the sand on the exciting Piper Promenade in Hermosa Beach, Ca. Specializing in grilled meats and seafoods, Silvio's provides delicious sandwiches, salads, BBQ Plates, appetizers, and ala carte meat to our guests year round.Silvio's patio overlooks the pier, beach and ocean. We provide 15 craft draft beers and 47 craft canned beers for your beer loving enjoyment! We also serve delicious sangria and our house cocktails called “Caipiroska's".The restaurant is available to book private parties and events with custom beverage and food packages. Our Happy Hour is Monday to Friday serving half off appetizers and half off select craft beers, wines, and cocktails."

My hubby and I were out enjoying the Cali sunshine and stopped into Silvio’s for an outdoor lunch. The food was tasty but it didn’t knock our socks off. The service was slower than expected, even though it didn’t look especially busy. Overall an okay first time but we probably won’t rush back. I will say the drunken shrimp was good, the best part of the meal.
After enjoying the street fair, we decided to get a bite to eat. Good, hot and was delivered quickly. The frozen drinks are delicious, a must on a hot day. The staff checked on us several times and we had a good time. Lots of beers on tap to chose from. Family friendly dining too.
Silvio's South American in Hermosa Beach boasts a prime location and offers a good service. However, as a Brazilian, I must admit that the flavor of the dishes did not meet my expectations. It is important to note that taste is subjective and can vary according to individual preferences. Nevertheless, considering the prime location and good service provided, I still recommend it.
The food here is incredible! They have this shrimp dish and the sauce is so good, I could pour it into a bucket and just drink it with a giant straw. It’s that good! Lovely atmosphere with clean and comfortable decor. The hosts are also great. Really recommended!
Nice environment, went here for a friend’s birthday but note - the surrounding area is very touristy, thus making it difficult to find parking. While this has nothing to do with the business I find it important to note - showing up early in the day is highly recommended. Now about the food - Unfortunately for vegans like me there wasn’t 1 single option. Not even an impossible burger which is usually a basic option non vegan restaurants have. The server was really nice which left me having a great experience with the service. He said they will update their menu and include more vegan options at some point. I really hope they do, otherwise - as a vegan & Brazilian I can’t quite recommend this place. Also, it would be nice if non alcoholic beverages could be added to the menu, maybe hibiscus tea or soft drinks. Something more on the healthy side. Hopefully soon I can return and update my review! For now, i guess you can get a salad with lettuce and tomatoes if they’re not sold out on the main ingredient of the salad: hearts of palm. Dietary restrictions: Vegan
After several miles of walking the beach, my girlfriend, son, and I stopped by Silvio's to get a bite and a couple of beers. The service and food were amazing. Our waitress was really nice. We sat in the patio as the weather was really nice that day. I had the Hawaiian roll pulled pork sliders. They were very filled and a great dish to share with another person. I also had a Sculpin IPA - very good... fresh and cold. My girlfriend had a bloody mary and ceviche. We will definitely be back when we visit LA in the near future.
Excellent Brazilian BBQ! Definitely go for pork plates or the chicken. Everything down to their drinks was rich with flavor. Their appetizers are great and if you go between 3&4pm drinks and certain appetizers are half off! Their beef BBQ Burger photographed here is $1.00 with a purchase of a beer which was half off at the time. Great deals at the right time for great food!

LOVED this place. Amazing drinks, great customer service!!!! The live music was perfect with the atmosphere. And the food……just go you will NOT be disappointed.Food: 5/5
