Founder, Ean Pemberton, created Simple Strokes Art Studio for his creative younger sister who enjoys drawing, baking, fashion and all things artistic! The purpose behind the studio was to provide an environment where his sister could develop her talents and grow as an artist. Ean took his passion for helping others and his entrepreneurial spirit to create Simple Strokes Art Studio where anyone can create their own masterpiece. His vision was not only to create a space for those with a passion for art, but also for people who simply wanted to paint, laugh and relax all at the same time while providing a safe, fun, and exciting environment for kids of all ages. Ean’s passion for working with children lead him to mentor at risk youth, get involved with after school programs, and several other non-profit organizations. He strongly believes that if we invest in today’s youth, we will build a brighter future for tomorrow! Ean is also passionate about making an impact in the elderly and foster care communities. By providing art therapy programs, the hope is to improve mental health, happiness and social connection and decrease isolation and depression through creative engagement.
