Our names are Chris & Kate and we are the husband & wife team behind Simply American Furnishings. Just a little bit about us: We both call the northern Atlanta area home, and that's where we met. Chris is proudly serving our country in the United States military which has brought us all the way out here to Fort Hood, TX. Our 3 LARGE dogs and HGTV pretty much occupy 95% of our spare time, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
Our company began in 2014 here in Fort Hood, TX. We had just moved in together, and as you can imagine had almost no furniture (well nice furniture anyways). Thanks to HGTV & Pinterest we just needed a large rustic farmhouse table for our home. We searched everywhere in town and nothing was the right combination of size, color, and price. Not only that but the sets we were finding had really high price tags, yet they were made of really cheap materials that we just knew wouldn't last. Thats when we got the crazy idea to set off to build our own farmhouse table made 100% of solid wood. We became instantly hooked with building. We loved the character that our hand crafted table had that you just could not get at the store. We decided we had to share our new found talents with anyone else who found themselves in the same dilemma we had faced, and that was when Simply American Furnishings was born!
