I needed a last minute appointment and they saved the day! Big thanks to Dan who was my nail tech. Dan gave so much care and attention to my nails. They’re shaped perfectly and I love the color! He really helped me choose something really cool and sleek. The prices are fair and there are tons of choices. I appreciate the last minute book!

Nila is a nail Goddess! Nila has been my nail tech for several years now. Unfortunately, I’ve had to give her up as I’ve recently moved to North Carolina. But let me tell you... not all nail techs are the same! Not just anyone can do what Nila does! She is capable of turning your nails into a masterpiece; a work of art. More than just a set of nails. She takes her time, does the work correct every time, and I’ve NEVER had a problem with my acrylic lifting. Plus she is fairly priced. If you ever have the chance to get on as her client, take it! And don’t ever F it up or take her for granted! I’d kidnap her if I could, because I haven’t been able to find anyone close to doing what she can, and anyone local in NC who sees her work is in awe!

Simply Elegant Day Spa is a real treat. The owner is sweet and beautiful and so is the salon. I refer anyone who wants to get their hair, nails, or eye brows waxed to go see Nyla and her professionals.

The review below by Elizabeth Belinda Kirkhuff Garner is a complete fabrication. She called saying that she just wanted an acrylic fill. When she arrived and I examined her nails I first discovered that she had already removed one because she said it was lifted. The second thing I noticed was that she had a nasty infection on one finger and some discoloration on at least two others. I showed her the discoloration and told her that those nails appeared to me to also be infected. I asked Nila Dodson, the salon owner, to examine the nails. She determined that the infection was pseudomonas. She also pointed out that most of Elizabeth's nails had large air pockets in them and explained to her that these pockets were susceptible to moisture and could lead to a fungal infection or further bacterial infections. Nila and I both recommended that she have the nails removed and redone. Elizabeth refused, stating that she just wanted them to last a few weeks and she only wanted me to fill in the backs and replace the one missing nail. I told her that they probably would not stay on long and that I could not be responsible for the work that her previous tech had done. She was fine with that and said she understood. Six days later she called to tell me that the nails were lifting and since it had been less than a week she wanted me to repair them. She came in for an appointment 2 days later. She claimed that not only were her nails lifting but also that she had nails that were infect which had not been infected before these were the nails which were discolored and that I had warned her about the week before. After a close examination I discovered that the nails were lifting on the front corners and along the sides. The acrylic which I had laid in the backs of the nails were fully bonded. Even though I had been polite and professional, Elizabeth was unhappy. Apparently she expected me to do a complete removal and back-fill free of charge even though she had refused our advice to do exactly that one week earlier. I am fortunate that Nila was a witness to the fact that the infection was pre-existing and that the client was advised to have a complete back-fill done during the original appointment. I am sorry that she was unhappy with the response that she got. I always strive to do good work and keep my customers happy. Sincerely, Daniel Vaughn

Awesome as always!! Nila is just the best! Dan does great pedicure with calf massage that is fabulous! Carrie, Julie and the rest are slesyd busy and friendly!! Highly recommend
