SIMS SOUL Cookin'

It's out of the way and the building looks rough...but don't let that sway you. Absolutely the best southern soul/comfort food I've ever had, served by people who made me feel like family. The fried catfish is incredible, and the portions are HUGE! It's worth the effort to find this place for a wonderful meal.

The food used to be good, there's used to be a lot of workers here. But now its just a fat miserable lady who cooked up fish that wasn't fresh and who clearly didn't want to be there. I'll come back when this place has life in it again like it used to.Food: 2/5

Sims is definitely worth the stop if you are hungry for amazing, delicious southern soul food,! We are so glad to have found this little local eatery. Great food, prices and service!

This place was amazing!! It's a tiny hole in the wall that you almost miss, but it is great!! Definitely a soul food place. Made me feel like I was eating at my grandmother's. I have recommended to my family and friends. The lady who took our order was super friendly. We will be back!

As Guy Fieri calls it on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives, this place is a dive... As soon as I walked back in the house from picking up our order I proclaimed “this food is going to be great”... The rib tips, catfish strips, chicken strips, fried okra and slaw was awesome!!!! The service when I got there to pick it up was on point... The lady opened each plate to let me inspect it... I was not sure what was exactly ordered but every plate looked awesome... Also there were some people eating in and saw their drinks brought out to them IN 32OZ MASON JARS!!! Southern Soul Food at it’s finest... Highly recommended!!!!

This little hole in the wall was AMAZING! Cat Fish, Beans, Cole Slaw....WOW! Not to mention some of the Best service & hospitality we have ever encountered!!! We Highly recommend this restaurant!!!! If you're ever in Tupelo, do not miss this place!!!

All I can say is WOW! I'm not sure how I lived in Tupelo for a year without trying Sims sooner! Their catfish and fried okra is amazing! We will definitely be returning customers !

I enjoyed everything I got, fresh, friendly, serving delicious food through difficult times, rib tips and catfish soooooo good, slaw so yummy and creamy mmmmmm I can't wait to go back
