Wonderful place with the BEST Mexican food in town! The food is absolutely delicious try the chicken fajitas! as well as their margaritas. Every time we’re in town we won’t hesitate to stop by this gem. Excellent service too.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
I can’t say enough good things about this hidden gem! The ambience is amazing. The food is authentic in my opinion with good portions and one of the best places to get Mexican food that feels like home. The staff is so kind and welcomes you with open arms and they all are very attentive. Affordable and many options to chose from.
We are from Texas so maybe expectations too high. Food was just ok. Nothing had much spice except the salsa. Chips were the best thing in the meal. Crisp, thick and warm. Fajitas had very little chicken with no spice. Hubby had beef enchiladas and said they were tasteless. Service was on target and friendly!!
This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had in Sioux fall or at any restaurant! We walked in at 9pm well aware that the closing time was at 10pm on a Friday night. It was me and my friend and my 1 year old daughter. We were sat with menus and left there for 5 min. The server came back and asked us to order because they would be closing at 9:30. I ordered a margarita which was the weakest margarita I have ever had. I ordered an entree that was supposed to come with beans so I could share with my daughter. Only to be told it doesn’t. It doesn’t say it but I guess it was written in invisible ink. The queso lacked any flavor. The server never came to check in after that. I had to get up and ask for the checks. We simply handed her 2 cards and asked her to split it down the middle. Apparently that is a request that they can’t do. I will NEVER BE BACK! I have been in the rest industry for 10+ years and this is no way to treat a guest. Don’t waste your time here!!!
Puerto Villarta has been my favorite restaurant for years! I have tried a wide variety of dishes there and never once been disappointed. This is a family run restaurant with incredible service and great staff.Food: 5/5
My wife really wanted to going to this Mexican restaurant as it’s on the side of town we normally go to the grocery store unfortunately the chips were hard and stale and very greasy you can see in the photos also the beans were incredibly runny refried beans should not be that runny. My wife ordered a plate with steak sliced steak and it was incredibly tough and overcooked. This is the first and last time we will ever come to this restaurant the glass they brought me for my beer had lipstick on it as well.
Food has always been consistently good, family owned and operated by great people who care about what they're doing. And prices are fair and you won't leave hungry.Food: 5/5
Great food and great service. The service was quick and the food was hot and delicious. Ordered the steak and chorizo burrito.Food: 5/5
Quaint place, delicious food, personable service. Music is Latin and kept at a background level. Serves my favorite dish, arroz con pollo. Service animal friendly.
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and atmosphere, look no further. Only thing missing would be the Mariachis. Amazing food made with fresh ingredients make you feel as though you were vacationing in the heart of Mexico. Highly recommend for the whole family, especially if you want to introduce your kids and family to the cuisine without breaking the wallet!!
