We’ve ordered from Sweets by Jenna a few times and we’ve never been disappointed. She’s always willing to work with our themes, but takes them beyond what we could ever imagine. My daughter’s recent “Two Wild” birthday party was an absolute hit simply because of the cake and cookies we ordered! We recommend her to everyone we meet.Food: 5/5
I visited Sweets by Jenna about a month ago in search of a bakery who could help replicate our wedding cake to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. After sampling a few of their delicious cupcakes, I decided to contact the shop about a custom order. They were communicative, respectful, and kind in their communication and design of our cake. When I picked up the cake, their attention to detail became apparent. They masterfully replicated our wedding cake topper with their own twist in design - adding elegant sparkles and beautiful flowers. My husband took one bite of the cake and responded with, “oh wow!” and proceeded to gobble up the rest of his serving. The almond cake was moist, light and had an irresistible icing that never overpowered the cake. I highly recommend using their bakery for all of your baked good needs. I will certainly be returning to this bakery time and time again! Well done, Sweets by Jenna!
By far the best cake I’ve ever had. Called multiple times to confirm the order bc I had heard some personal stories with errors with payment or not having the order ready, but I had no issues. Cake was gorgeous and freaking delicious
Thanksgiving order! I ordered one chocolate mouse pie $25 and one bourbon pecan pie $35. I followed the instruction to let the pies sit out before serving but was still let down. The pecan pie was hard and not edible half way through the pie…shocking. For the price I did not expect this kind of poor quality/consistency. I brought the chocolate pie to another house and that was well liked. For the price I’d expect the order as a whole to be good not just one of the pies. Unfortunately, as a new customer I don’t think I would be able to trust buying a dessert here to bring to an event like someone’s home or for a holiday party. Perhaps I should have vetted first and maybe went for a small single item like a cookie.
I have used sweets by Jenna for countless events and have never been disappointed ! Her cakes and sweets are not only beautiful but are always delicious and super fresh! Also she always accommodates me for my crazy special requests! Simply the best!
I really wanted to treat myself for my birthday and decided to Check out Sweets in Rocky Hill. Everything looked fantastic, I wanted to box the entire place up and take it home. First off, I loved the modern/chic look of the bakery. Your focus walking in immediately goes towards the sweets. And boy, are these desserts amazing!!! The peanut butter bar was hands down the best Birthday treat I could ask for. Not to mention the prices, extremely cheap for the area and the quality. Will definitely visit more often!
Highly recommend! The cupcakes I got for a bridal shower recently were fabulous. We tried their chocolate and lemon with vanilla buttercream. They were so cute too!!
Not only was this cake so beautiful but it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this bakery. The people who work there were very helpful and kind over the phone as well.
I’ve been to Jenna’s bakery multiple times and was so excited to order my wedding cake from here as well. Jenna took on my order during the opening of the bakery, which I know was busy and chaotic, and was still able to work with us to set up a tasting and get our order together. On the day of, delivery and setup was handled beautifully. We decided on two flavors and every guest was raving about both and asking where they can get more cake. Not only was the cake beautiful, but also so delicious and moist. It was absolute perfection and added to our day so nicely!
Ordered our cake for our 1.7.23 wedding yesterday almost a year ago only negative thing I have to say is communication needs to be better, my wife and I contacted Jenna a few times in emails for changes and or to confirm our order and no response. I had to reach out VIA Facebook to reach someone else on her team to get her attention. In order to keep customers Coming communication is number 1. We also requested our cake to be marble with strawberries fillings. We did not get any strawberries. The cake was plain with marble and frosting. I’m very disappointed as a customer, on the other hand the taste was amazing and it was very moist. I will consider ordering again in the future! Thanks again!
