I use to give 5 stars but with their billing employee that is absolutly rude and argumentative I would give them zero stars but that is not an option. This woman has no customer service skills and really should not speak to the public. I would recommend not going here because if they cannot get their billing correct they will argue with you instead of working on what is the issue. I have taken my kids out of here and glad I did. I found a place closer to my home and everyone that works there has great customer service skills and knows how to speak to their customers. I hope they get it together because there is alot of competion out there.
I will never go here again specifically because of Maria. I have been going here for years and have never had any issues until an employee name Maria with orange hair and a lip perching made an experience completely dissatisfying. I was already talking with another employee until she jumps in and immediately has an attitude and continuously interrupts me saying that she doesn’t have time for this that she needs to go pick up her son. She was completely unprofessional and not even attempting to listen to me or try to understand what I was asking. Completely disappointed that the employees can’t help when there is a confusing situation and won’t help to solve anything.
I love going to 16 Acre Optical! I always feel very welcomed when I am there. The staff is great. Jose is one of the nicest people I’ve dealt with in customer service. He is very personable and makes sure you feel comfortable in the office. The pads on my frames fell off, so he put new ones on without me even asking. Dustin is also very helpful; he made sure that I was getting the most out of my insurance for my glasses. Originally through my insurance, it would've taken two weeks for my new glasses to come in, but he made a call to get them in 4-5 business days. I couldn’t go two weeks without glasses, so he made sure to help me out anyway he could. I appreciate how much they care about the customer and I will continue going to 16 Acre Optical for as long as I can.
I had an excellent experience with Madeline that dialed in my prescription and appropriate contacts. Her professionalism, knowledge and humanabity is immeasurable! The optical shop is fortunate to have such an employee! I highly recommend Madeline for your next pair of contacts!
I have been going here for over 20+ years with my whole family. Laura who makes the lens for the frames is very knowledgeable. All the staff are courteous and very helpful.
After severe eye pain and being misdiagnosed with stressed induced migraines by my neurologist, I was able to get in on an emergency basis with Dr. Quartz. Turns out, they weren't due to stressed induced migraines. When I came in, my eye pressure was through the roof. I was instantly referred to Dr. Mutlukan. Thank you Dr. Quartz for this referral. Dr. Mutlukan is the only doctor that has been able to help me. I have seen several neurologists for a condition which nobody has an answer to. I starting seeing him in 2021. He is extremely thorough. After being diagnosed with glaucoma at the age of 38, Dr. Mutlukan has gone above and beyond to try to help me with my other neurological conditions. He has spent his time and has been very patient with me, often ordering blood work and recently a PET scan. He has worked closely with me and has continued to manage my glaucoma and various other symptoms. He is better than any neuro-ophthalmologist in Boston. He is knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. Dr. Mutlukan and Dr. Quartz are by far, the most intelligent doctors and they make an amazing team. Staff is amazing too. A special thanks to Sandy, you help me everytime I call.
My son and I both had appointments. We went for a first pair of contacts appointment. The first thing the doctor told him was he will not be able to do it and to come back in a few years. My son is 12 also, responsible and mature for his age. He does not like to wear his glasses in public. We forgot to bring his glasses and were scolded for it. My son was also going to get his eye sight tested so there was no need for the glasses. When he tried putting the contacts in his eyes, the assistant Vallarta was very nice and working with my son. He was starting to get the hang of it. Next the female doctor comes over and starts telling him he’s not doing a good job and making him feel uncomfortable. She was Nitpicking his every move. Finally he gave up. He left the appointment in tears! During my appointment, the female doctor told me how terrible my insurances and that for as many appointments they have in a week my insurance still won’t pay enough to cover my appointment. I’m not sure why she had to tell me that but it really didn’t make me have a pleasant experience either! Neither of us left with glasses or contacts. I will never go back or recommend this office to anyone!
The folks that work there are Very Professional and very helpful and Polite, I will be going to them every year to get my eyes examined, since I have Diabetes, they just put you at ease, I also will be bringing my 3 yr old granddaughter if she needs glasses
I went this morning because my daughters dog broke my glasses and didn’t have a second pair. So I went here and staff went above and beyond to find my same frame. They saved my life today because I work on the road seeing patients at home and o have to use my eyeglasses at all times. Thank you for going above and beyond.
