Description

San Joaquin Valley College is an accredited private junior college that provides accelerated career-focused curriculum and instruction to its students. The College has prepared more than 20,000 graduates for professional success in their chosen careers.

Founded in 1977, SJVC has ten campuses located throughout California—plus an online division—and offers more than 20 accelerated Certificate and Associate of Science degree programs in the business, medical and technical fields.

The entire faculty at SJVC Temecula exudes professionalism and phenomenal customer service. SJVC offers resources on campus and provide info about community resources off campus. SJVC also offers a positive and safe environment. They genuinely want the best for our future and provide a lot of support and encouragement. What a blessing! They’re like a second family. I want to acknowledge that I have awesome classmates, an attentive Admission Advisor, Mr. Edgar Aguilar, the Dean of Student Services, Mrs. Moriarity, very compassionate and utilizes an open door policy, our Learning Resource Coordinator IT assistance, tutoring and more, Mrs. Jones! Lastly but not least, my instructor, Ms. Ballesteros. She’s the best in her craft, because she has so much experience in the medical field, overall, she’s a nurturing mother and instructor and a phenomenal instructor that enjoys teaching! The entire faculty goes above and beyond for us students. As a mother and veteran, I’m confident that I made the best decision attending SJVC as a MA student! Best wishes to everyone!
Most of the instructors at SJVC are great instructors however there is on Ms. Jessica Gutierrez is a horrible instructor. She doesn't know the course material, she doesn't grade homework and mastery's on time, she constantly changes the lecture days and times. She gives vague feedback on homework and mastery's. She is just all around BAD instructor.
Honestly pay attention to the low reviews here because that will literally tell you the truth about this school. I really want to do the Surgical Tech program and I already had a Counselor help me Sanjana and soon found out she no longer works there… Then I was transferred to Kevin and he forward me to someone else I can’t remember her name but she was for a different program and I told Kevin and he transferred me to someone else Camilla and I emailed her and she NEVER responded so again!!! I emailed Kevin and no response and I kept insisting and till he finally answers and literally he stops replying and again no response. Is it that hard to help new students to get set up??!! So unprofessional and never delt with a school like this. Honestly that just is a red flag and what many current students mention. I’m just going to look for a better promising school!!!
The school had NO placement for me to complete my extership. I was threatened to get dropped off the program if I didn’t find my own extership. During enrollment I was promised a place to complete my extership. To prevent being dropped off the program, I had to agree to do my internship at Jacob’s House. At Jacob’s house I had NO opportunity to do any office work but instead do housekeeping. This school is a scam!!!!!! My expectations were to be working at an office. This school only got me into DEBT!!!
This school is extremely friendly and professional. The professor want to help you succeed for a brighter future. I highly recommend this college. If you have any questions the staff is more than willing to help.
Awful billing department, took months to get me answers and were still unwilling to help. They do not keep thier word. Watch what you sign. Also good luck with them helping you.
As most of these comments reveal, this school is very bad at accommodating their students. They cancel on you and ignore you. It’s very unprofessional, I always felt uncomfortable going. This school is driven by money & greed. They don’t care about the success of their students.
Best school ever! All staff and teachers are amazing! Especially Mrs. flores and Mr. M! They are definitely my new family
Faculty and instructors are very supporting for their students. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming community created here.
SJVC was a great program. Worth the time and sacrifice to start a new career. I learned so much in the little time I was here. I’d do it all over again if I had to
