In the mid 1940’s brothers Bud and Dode Egbers were just out of high school, farming cattle on their local Skagit Valley farm. By 1947, the Egbers found themselves hauling grain and hay on their 4 trailers at the urging of local farmers; this was the beginning of Skagit Valley Trucking.
