SKIBACS Lodge

Wonderful location. My children love playing and staying here year round - hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Great place to relax and enjoy company with fellow club members or family time. Highly recommend!

As a kid in 1971, it was pretty awesome. Our dad, a Boeing engineer, took us there, and I recall the bridge, the tiny rooms, the huge kitchen and dining room, but most of all the downstairs room with the fireplace and jukebox that none of the adults ventered into. And it was there we played American Pie over and over. Oh, and the skiing was fun too.

This place has beautiful views and very charming. Wonderful place to take the family.

Came here in 2013 had a great time. The place was clean and the caretaker stayed out of our business. This recent trip was a MISTAKE. The bottom floor was sheeted in dead bugs. Every single bed and floor in the rooms down there had a minimum 20 visible various bugs like the place was just fumigated. There was a DEAD DECOMPOSING MOUSE in the 2nd floor recreation room. MAGGOTS were feasting on the body. It was bone dry when I had to dispose of it to keep all the children from trying to play with it. We notified the caretaker. He swept up and then told us he could not disinfect it. His girlfriend screamed at our service dog. The walk lightly in the dining area after 10pm sign really means stay out of there until morning because the caretaker will kick you out for having quiet conversation in there. I have never rented a lodge and seen the caretaker every couple of hours the entire stay; it was extremely unwanted. The rodent problem is so severe that the extra supplies for the kitchen saran wrap, foil, etc. Were sticky and soaked with mouse or rat urine. There is not a vaccuum in the building. There is however a strewn mess across the place. You can tell someone is clearly using rooms and public areas as personal space. This wouldn't be a problem if the rooms werent supposed to be available. In fact the largest room had multiple bicycles and trash all over the place. The only reason this review is 2 star is because I enjoyed my first stay, 6 years ago, so much. This caretaker does not care.

Not sure why rate this, this is a private lodge that isn't open to general public. If it is available to you, and you like me didn't know what to expect, this place is great!

Very cozy Lodge and a nice game room. Hot water takes a while to come on.

Fantastic experience. Great communal lodge feeling.
