Skinner Garden Store

Buyers beware…..My husband and I bought a red maple two years ago and paid $200 for it. Last year we noticed some leaves in the middle were dying. We talked to an associate at skinners and were told it may come out of it but they would give us $100 toward a new tree. We decided to see if the tree would come out of it. Well it didn’t and this year the entire enter of the tree was dead. When my husband went back out to skinner’s he was told he planted the tree incorrectly. In other words they don’t stand behind their products. We have planted many trees and never had this happen before. Sounds more like the tree was diseased and dying from the inside out. Will never buy anything from Skinner’s again. Hope their lack of standing behind the products they sell was worth the bad publicity and loss of at least one good customer!

Skinner's is one of my favorite garden centers. If you can't find the tree or shrub you want, either you haven't checked with Skinner's or it doesn't survive in our area. They also have a great guarantee policy.

Amazing customer service. All the people who work there go out of their way to help you, and are all extremely knowledgeable of all things plants, trees, flowers, and herbs.

The season isn't quite here for full outdoor excitement; however, they were just as friendly, helpful, and customer service oriented as always! Wonderful new front end employee! Thank you for the great service! They are consistent year after year, and seem to run like a well oiled machine. There's always a great selection of seeds, soil, rock, fountains, garden essentials, and gifts; as well as our local seasonal appropriate varieties of flowers, trees, plants, vegetables, and more!

Very nice staff, herbs for $5 a bit high. Plants look so healthy and well tended. Huge place, will go back!
