Skip's Pharmacy

I am beyond disappointed with this place. I ordered a prescription 8 days ago. I informed them that I only had 5 days of this left and they just emailed me now that it will be sent out today? via USPS Thursday just before 5PM right before a holiday weekend. What am I supposed to do now? I live in Texas & they are located in Florida… This is a medication I need to survive. It’s not frivolous. I wish I could say this was the first time I’ve encountered an issue with their shipping but this is a continuous issue. I’ve paid for expedited overnight shipping before over $30 for 1 bottle of pills to receive it about a week later. I’m ready to switch compounding pharmacies. This is outrageous.

It took them 8 days to call me back to fill a prescription and turn around time another 7 days! You got to be kidding me. I called a pharmacy that does compound prescription for veterinarians in New Jersey and got it in 3 days! Skips shouldn't get any stars!

I surprisingly received a call from the manager rectifying a situation with one of their employees. She moved that person into another department that doesn't need to deal with customers. She was great and proactive in making the necessary changes. I would in fact recommend them! Bravo.

I have been a customer for years now. I live in East Boca, but gladly drive to their Deerfield location. I am very pleased with their consistent customer service. They never skip a beat. They treat me like V.I.P. I am always reminded when the script will be processed. And every time, they always comfirm by calling me. My sweet boy Ricky is thriving, because of the heart medication he takes. I never have to worry about Skip's Pharmacy running out of Vetmedin aka Pimobendan.

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST pharmacy we have ever dealt with. They are SO consistently fast with their refills and special order requests. I called today to get medicine filled for a critical k9 patient last minute and the pharmacist did everything I asked for!! 5 special order medicines ready for the client to pick up same hour. Unreal customer services. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!! - Cole Animal Clinic <3

UPDATE: I received a call back AFTER I posted the review offering me what I spent nearly an hour on the phone asking for... of course not only do I know that no one can control the shipping normally but especially now, in the time of Covid. My complaint is that rather than find a solution during our initial discussions which I offered they said NO, after wasting a lot of my time on the phone. I appreciated the pharmacist's call back, she was a lovely person, but knowing that the only motivation was my review, I declined and have found another compounding pharmacy. I never write reviews. But this experience made me want to take the time to say what AWFUL policies they have. I was told I would have my prescription no later than a certain day no promise of an exact date, which they always say they cannot do. I made it clear that I would pay for FedEx if there would be an issue and only just found out it will not arrive and now I am officially out of my prescription. They told me I would need to pay DOUBLE the initial FedEx charge I was willing to pay initially to get it by tomorrow which is Saturday delivery -- I am already going to missing one dose of a daily medication. I offered to pay the initial FedEx fees but was told the OWNER said he would not cover the remainder. Really lovely customer service policy for someone that has ordered from Skip's for years. BTW, the people I spoke to were helpful. I was told the OWNER was asked and he said he would not do anything in this situation. It isn't even the amount of money -- it's the lack of taking responsibility and trying to do what's right by a long term customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Skips Pharmacy is excellent. I choose to travel farther from East Boca to Deerfield for meds for my dogs. Consistent in several areas: Quality of product; superior customer service. The service is impressive. I always get a call in advance telling me meds are ready for pick up. They also give you option for delivery.

My doctor called an order to this pharmacy 3 days ago and they called me the same day for payment and charged me for priority mail shipping and told me it would be 2 days. When I called today they told me they weren't sure when it went out. I asked them to check their priority mail shipping receipt and she admitted it just went out today and now I find out the pharmacy is less than 2 hours away! I should not be paying for "priority" shipping. This was the single one most important drug my doctor ordered. The post office and Covid 19 are becoming copouts for people not doing their jobs..

They're always helpful and understanding. The automated system is great, and on the occasions I do need to speak to someone they handle things well. Recently had several hiccups with my regular prescription mailing due to Hurricane Irma, and they have been more than accommodating with changing mailing addresses multiple times even though they themselves were quite overwhelmed with storm related headaches.

As nurse and former Pharmacy Tech, I highly recommend Skip's Pharmacy. I have been ordering my LDN, as well as, my pet's medicationfrom from them for the past 8 years They are always very professional and extremely organized. My medications are always filled promptly and they are delivered on time via USPS. Many researchers have used Skip's over the years for their LDN, because of their accuracy. This is so important when using a compounding pharmacy.
