Skipjack is an upscale casual restaurant specializing in seasonal, locally sourced food. Chef and owner Donny Merrill brings over 20 years of experience to the kitchen, creating a menu that combines classics with new American fare, as well as delicious daily and nightly specials.
Although we are not an exclusively seafood restaurant, we celebrate our proximity to the Chesapeake Bay by serving plenty of fresh local seafood. Skipjack offers the quality of food and level of service one normally finds only in fine dining restaurants in an atmosphere that is unpretentious and unintimidating. We believe that fine dining can and should be a fun experience for all.
Skipjack’s innovative cocktail list includes several homemade infusions. We are also known for our ever-growing beer list, featuring microbrews as well as popular favorites, and our eclectic, well-balanced wine list. Skipjack is a great place to eat for those with food allergies, vegetarians and vegans, those who eat gluten-free, and anyone else whose diet is restricted.
Whether you would prefer a drink and appetizers in our casual bar and lounge area, or you would like to have an upscale dinner in our dining room, come and join us! Skipjack is a great place for parties and events, to meet friends after work, or for a night out, with or without the kids.
Specials include our $10 business person’s lunch, which includes a soup or salad, sandwich, and a soft drink, and happy hour in the bar and lounge seven days a week from 4:00-7:00. Happy hour features $5 small plates, which rotate daily, and $1 off of draft beers, wine, and mixed drinks. On Fridays and Saturdays after 10:00pm we offer $2 off signature drinks and $5 glasses of house wine. We offer active-duty military employees a small discount as a token of our appreciation for your service.
