Had about a dozen tree sap spots on the hood and roof of our Mazda CX-5.  I Used alcohol to take the sap off, but it left a circle of dull spot around each spot that’s very obvious under the sun.  Went to a handful of deferent detailing places to see if there’s someway they can buff and polish them off, but all said they couldn’t do it.  One place recommended I give Skippy’s a try.  Long story short, Frank was awesome, super friendly and professional. He didn’t make any promises, but said he’ll give it a try. If it doesn’t work he’ll just charge me the regular exterior/interior detailing price. He and his team did their magic, after a few hours he texted and said it’s all done.  I couldn’t believe my eyes.  The spots are all gone completely.  Whole car looks brand new inside out.  Thank you!!!Service:&nbsp;Auto detailing

I used to live in this area and always get my car washed at Skippy’s because they were so good!!!!!!  Sadly, I have moved 45 minutes away from Fort Lee. However, on Friday, my day off, I decided to go Skippy’s for that same amazing car wash experience. I waited another 30 minutes in line to get my car washed.  After the car wash, I paid $40 for the over size truck, and with no hesitation $20 tip without assessing the entirety of the truck but the picture shows the bed of the truck was not done. Idk if I was suppose to request to get the bed washed out. Even my interior was not thoroughly wiped down or vacuum. Definitely it was better than the condition I brought it in. But not the same as before. Also I saw a handful of the same people from 8 years when I used to go there often. Sad.  I get it, it was a busy Friday afternoon. Literally every inch I got closer to the car wash, another car was lined up. But I am quite disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

The last guy who collects the payment at the end was incredibly rude rushing me to leave when I was trying to reset the dash cam and my recharging cord when it only took me a few seconds. I’ve been coming here for many years and this was the first time I’ve been treated like this. Shame on him for showing poor customer service from Skippy’s having one of the best customer service. I am not going back ever again. Good luck, Skippy’s!

I don't wish to write trash review based on 1 experience but I have to make a point from my less-than-stellar experience today. Two negatives: 1 Ignorant pricing & bad communication during payment and 2 Work quality  First - at the end of the job, guy asked me, "Cash?" and when I said "No, credit card", he just took it and without informing me of the price, just charged it, did not ask if I want a receipt, and returned it to me without a word. Not that I ask for a 5-star service at a place like this but C'mon. So I asked, "$27?" and he said, "$38" My Telluride is almost 197" and is a Midsize SUV - a half to full foot or more shorter than Full-size SUVs like Ford Expedition 210", BMW x7 203", Chevy Tahoe 210.7", and so on. I tried to explain to him but he had the nerve to point out small crossovers like Rav4 and CR-V parked around the area telling me those are midsize. My car looks boxy but isn't a full-size, but he obviously thought he knew better than the owner who spent 6+ months researching the car before buying it. So I dropped it - waste of my time. At the very least, he should've confirmed the price with the customer before charging it.  Second, even though they weren't that busy had 2 other cars, when they were done, there were water streaks on both sides. So much for a detailed wash.  This left a bad taste in my mouth - I'll be taking my business to the other hand carwash in North Bergen where you can actually talk to the guy to confirm pricing before going through it.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I’ve been going here multiple times no problems but today I went in with something all over my car thinking they would get it off & it didn’t. So I mentioned it to the guy that controls the traffic in back, told me to come around & he would help me out. Idk what they used on my car but it was messing up the plastic near the window! You’d think a place that does detail would know what they are doing. After explaining to  him it’s not working he yells at me telling me I’m taking up his time and the workers time & is being beyond disrespectful mind you he can clearly see I’m very pregnant & he’s treating me this way when I I just wanted help. If he couldn’t help me after I had paid $30 for a car wash he should have said that. I left upset crying with a mean old man yelling at a pregnant women. Don’t come here their service isn’t as great as it used to be & you wait at least 35 mins!!

The people that work at Skippy’s are hands down the most compassionate, detail oriented and genuine place to take any vehicle for a great wash, excellent customer service and standard of services they provide for the area!!!!!

Best place in northern nj for a car wash. I do not get a car wash where I live. I usually hand wash myself and take my time. When I do need a wash by people who care and have great attention to detail, I travel almost 35mins to come here. The team is really second to none.

I went to a few high rating car washes in the past few years. NONE of them came close to that one. They they take their time not rushing you. They wash one more time in areas that they missed. Go over the tires. NO dripping areas afterwards The TOP OF the TOP

Best hand car wash in the Fort Lee, Cliffside Park, Ridgefield and Fairview area. My car is always clean, smells fresh. They very efficient and very friendly. They also offer full luxury detailing. Best hole in the wall spot I found to wash my car.

Very thorough, good price and great attention to detail. I’ve tried so many car wash places all over NJ but Skippys always stands out! Price can’t be beat. Tire shine is included at no extra cost
