Great food and service in such a beautiful location! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. Came in after doing Quandary Peak and their bagel sandwich was EXACTLY what I needed. Loved their iced coffee as well!Food: 5/5
We ate here twice while on vacation in Breckinridge. The first time everything was great. The second time we were wishing we picked a different restaurant. The cinnamon rolls are good. I wouldn’t say they are great. However, they aren’t bad. They just were amazing. The first day we ate everything was good and hot. The second day my husbands eggs were not cooked all the way, his bacon was cooked to death and his home fries were cold. He ended up not eating half the food on his plate. The waitress didn’t seem to notice and never asked how our meals were. Since she didn’t seem to care we didn’t tell her how horrible the one plate of food was. If you are wanting to try this restaurant my advice to you is to make sure you go on a week day before they are busy. Do not go on the weekend.
Beautiful view. Lots of choices on the menu. Super great staff. The Benedict’s are very good and they have really good biscuits and gravy. Parking: It’s just a small lot shared with a bike shop so space is limited. It’ll just depend on what it’s like when you arrive. But there is street parking very close.
Service was good but food was just ok. I thought we’d enjoy it but didn’t. The potatoes were the frozen kind and they tasted like it. The pancakes were fluffy but hard to cut like rubber. The avocado toast, eggs and bacon were good. The water was just tap water. Didn’t seem to be filtered, more like old pipes from the city. Unfortunately I would not come back. We ordered the pancakes with eggs, avocado toast, and bacon and eggs.
Brought my family of 8 here to have breakfast our last day in Breckenridge. Service was wonderful, Yeslinda was so sweet and quick. Food was large portions and absolutely delicious. Irish coffee was a hit!Recommended dishesBreakfast Burrito
Wow, what a great little breakfast spot!! Karen made us feel so comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. Our service was Great! Our beverages were perfect. A little bit pricey but splurge now and then. The food was delicious. Lots of choices, see menu. Everything was so flavorful, I had leftovers to eat for two days because the portions are so large! The fresh made cinnamon roll, we shared between 3 of us, it’s delicious! Their home fries are to die for. In the back by bathrooms, on the wall, you will find Autographed pictures of all the famous people who have also enjoyed this gem!! Definitely worth coming here. They do get very busy so plan ahead.
We got a recommendation from a friend who loves to visit Breckinridge. He said Blue Moose was the place to visit for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! We appreciate how kind the staff was and accommodating with our two kids. We loved getting to sit outside where it was cool, we were warmed up with the fresh coffee, and got a view of the mountains. We chose to get a sweet dish strawberry pancake and a savory dish that day’s sandwich special to share. Food was great, and loved their cinnamon roll forgot to take a picture because it was so good!. Philip was our server and he was really kind.
It's a great breakfast place. We arrived around 7:30 am and there was no wait. The food was good and came out fairly quickly. Their service is very friendly. They also have a lot of merch to check it out. Recommended it! Kid-friendliness: Good place for families. Parking: Limited parking spots in front of the restaurant but there is public parking behind the restaurant
Enjoyed a quick breakfast here with some friends a number of years ago, while we were in town enjoying their wedding. We stayed at the Marriott Lodge, which is just a short walk away. Enjoyed a nice breakfast outside during the summer months amidst the lovely Breckenridge scenery. The food was very good, as was the service and overall atmosphere. We'd be delighted to return some day, and would recommend as a solid breakfast stop to anyone visiting the area.
Best to get there early, this place gets packed quick! The staff is very friendly and seemed to be handling the morning rush well. When we were seated, the hostess immediately asked what we would like to drink and also told us about their cinnamon rolls apparently they are known for them and asked if we wanted one. We were hungry so it was great to get some food right away. For our main course, my wife got the tradition Benedict and I got the meat burrito their breakfast burrito with your choice of meat inside—I went with chorizo. My wife liked the way the eggs were cooked, but said that the ham underneath didn’t seem to be cooked and was slimy. Despite my burrito coming with a side of black beans and smothered in green chili, my burrito was very dry over-cooked chorizo and not enough cheese. Both of our meals were pretty under seasoned. It’s an okay spot if you need some grub, but I’m not sure it’s work the hype and inflated prices.
