Sky Rider Coffee Shop was started in 1982 by Barbara Abrams. She along with her husband own a precision sheetmetal manufacturing in Tucson, AZ. However, away from their family business, Bud had a true passion for flying. Bud would spend many hours at the airport working on airplanes. In support of her husband and the long hours he and other pilots would spend at the airport, Barbara opened Sky Rider Coffee Shop. She hoped to be able to provide pilots, families and those passing by with food, drinks and some good hospitality. The restaurant is still owned by the Abrams family and is still working to provide the best breakfast and lunch in the area.
