Our family has never been to this hospital. Being in the area for 50 years, we have our go to hospital. As first appointment was an emergency, the hospital available was Sky Ridge. What a wonderful experience. We can't even begin to say how much we were happy to be there. The medical staff was exceptional. A++ The food was really good as well with pleasant personnel. Unfortunately, we had to return in emergency the following week with another issue, this time going to ICU. Again, the same above average staff. No food yet..........Thank you Sky Ridge for providing a caring hospital where your ability is to be friendly and professional. All the doctors and residents had a "bedside manner". That is also a very important part of healing...........
We had the best experience here. In Labor and Delivery every nurse and doctor we had was so amazing. It was my first baby so I had a lot of questions and concerns. The nurses spent time going over the questions and make sure that my concerns were heard. After L&D the recovery team was beyond helpful. They made sure I was taken care of and that I had everything I needed. The lactation specialist stayed with me for a while and gave me different options on how to feed my baby. Everyone that we interacted with surpassed every expectation we had. We are very happy we came to Sky Ridge and will make this the hospital we prefer.
Upon arrival we were greeted kindly by the staff and given instructions on how to check in and where to wait until we were called. After a very brief span in the waiting room we were brought back, vital checked and we began to explain my condition to the doctors and nurses who attentively listened and took notes. This was important to me since my last visit to an emergency room nearby was quite different. The doctors and nurses kept coming and going and I had to explain my condition through labored breathing more than 5 times. No one took notes, no one was informed. In fact no doctor even put a stethoscope on me for my pneumonia diagnosis. It was so much better at skyRidge. I was experiencing intense abdominal pain and they quickly jumped into action, tested my blood and started me on an IV drip. There was always someone close by checking in, proving updates and offering assistance. I am very grateful to the staff, Nurse Alison and Dr. Rose. Thank you
The nursing team that took care of me during my stay was amazing, even my drs and the surgeons were all amazing. This was my second trip there and both times every single person I had interaction with were amazing. They all are hard working, caring and so friendly and sweet. Sky ridge is definitely my new favorite hospital if I ever god for bid need to be admitted again it definitely be here. More hospitals need people like the teams sky has. I love you all and thank you all so much again for taking such good care of me
Excellent care. The multiple people who took care of me were all very talented in their positions. They were always right there whenever I needed them. They all seemed to really care and it wasn't just a job to them. Their upbeat attitudes helped make me feel positive and very thankful. I would recommend this medical group to everyone in need of joint replacement or spine surgery. I cannot thank all of them enough for all their care.
Everyone took such great care of me while I was there! A special shout out to the nurses! They took care of me on a daily basis! I will never forget you! You kept my spirits up in tough times! Thanks so much. And to the Physical Therapist I had. They along with Lilly and Savannah got me up and moving! Thanks so much to the doctors for all their hard work! I’m feeling almost back to normal. That would not be possible without my Lord and Savior! And the wonderful staff at Sky Ridge. You are wonderful, and made me feel comfortable in difficult circumstances!
Everyone here was so amazing! All my nurses were so helpful and kind. The doctors were very attentive and great at communicating their plan. The anesthesiologist made me feel so relaxed when getting the epidural. I will definitely be having all my babies here!
Treatment for an ER visit was rapid and professional. No issues there. However, the hospital billing representative soon rolled in on the portable screen with multiple disclaimers and other information that required signatures. At that point the morphine had kicked in, creating a bit of a distraction. However, I still tried to continue the process but, the staff continued to come in for additional tests. They quietly left and after the second time I told the talking head on the screen I had to go. We did not get to my insurance information. I assumed they would be calling after my discharge but the did not. So I called them providing all the insurance information. Now, I continue to get bills from all the different billing entities. This a time consuming process to wait on the phone to provide information the hospital should have completed. There are much easier and more efficient methods to obtain payment info.
Very nice facilities. I felt that almost all of the staff were incredible and compassionate. The Er Dr. has a wonderful bedside manner that made me feel so much more at ease and comfortable in a very stressful situation. Did not feel the same about the Cardio Dr or the person who initially tried to put in the IV in the emergency room but all in all, the staff gets an A+.
The staff made my hospital stay quite pleasant despite major surgery. I'd particularly like to commend Krista Knox, RN. Her firm, gentle and warm bedside manner made me feel comfortable and well cared for. All of her colleagues are exceptional. Even the food was good. Thank you, Sky Ridge Medical Center!
