Skydive Twin Cities offers both Tandem and Solo skydiving and is the largest skydiving center in the Upper Midwest and have two skydiving locations, our flagship skydiving center in Baldwin and our newest location in Winsted.
Founded in 1975, the Dropzone is run by Kerry McCauley who began skydiving in 1986 and John Bucsko who began skydiving in 1980. They each have over 16,000 jumps each!
We are located on our privately owned airport. We do not allow any other aircraft to use our airport. This makes it a safe, quiet landing area for jumpers. It is large, grassy, and obstacle free. For those making their first parachute jump, or as an experienced jumper, Skydive Twin Cities is recognized as the premier skydiving center in the Midwest. The school has been in business for over 38 years.
Skydive Twin Cities has the best and most experienced instructors available for both Tandem and Solo (Accelerated Freefall) skydives, with an average of over 3,000 skydives each.
Skydive Twin Cities offers facilities to accommodate large groups, team training, and fun jumpers. Our facilities offer the finest in comfort for jumpers and spectators alike.We have indoor packing, a covered creeper pad, and the finest grass landing area in the world! Skydive Twin Cities has a great camping area with showers, pavilion, and gas grills, all free of charge. Don't forget our legendary Friday and Saturday night bonfires!
