About

We create Native Inspired jewelry and unique replicas of Native American artifacts and ceremonial weaponry.

Description

Many Feathers (Rick Lee) is a descendant of the Northern Shoshone and a Shaman, though I MUST add I am not an enrolled member of any tribe. I still honor my heritage however by making jewelry, though I also cannot claim that it is authentic Native American craftsmanship due to federal regulations. He is a Vietnam Navy veteran, who has lived in Utah most of his life. Not only does he make fabulous art, he is also a gifted author, who published his first fantasy novel (Dragon’s Breath, see amywood2.wix.com/ricklee) two years ago. His wife Mieke, whom he named Heart Keeper, was born and raised in the Netherlands, but has traveled and lived in many countries around the world. Living in New Zealand for seven years, she learned much from the indigenous Maori People of that country. Fascinated by ancient native cultures since childhood, she has enthusiastically embraced her husband’s beautiful cultural heritage and spiritual beliefs…

Together, as Dowopi Pessi Na'dewee'- or SkyFeathersTrading, Many Feathers and Heart Keeper create Native American "Inspired" jewelry and ceremonial art, in traditional tribal colors and patterns. Everything is handmade and unique, no two pieces are exactly the same, and each has its own little flaws just like we do, because according to ancient Native belief, only the Great Spirit can be perfect. We use only genuine materials, such as sinew, bone, horn, wood, leather, shell, antler, glass, brass, fur, feathers, and hair. Many of our designs are based on patterns found in old pictures of Many Feather's grandmother’s blankets and pottery, at the reservation in Fort Hall, Idaho. Combining original tribal colors with the patterns discovered in the black and white photographs, Many Feathers and Heart Keeper bring these ancient designs back to life in a stunning manner. They sell their art and jewelry at Powwows and Mountain Men Rendezvous all over Utah.

Many of the items offered on this site can be custom made with other patterns or color schemes, on request. Be aware that, depending on the desired materials, this may alter the price of the item. As a shaman, Many Feathers will bless your purchases in the tradition of his people for extra Medicine before they are sent to you, which is especially powerful if they are meant to be a gift for someone you love.

Every item is guaranteed for life, and all of the larger pieces come with Many Feathers’ mark. They will ship anywhere in or outside the USA. Shipping rates are standard, depending on size and weight, and will be agreed upon before any item is sent.
