Skyland Trail serves adults with mental illness through innovative and individualized treatment that improves mental, physical and social well being.
Located in Atlanta, Skyland Trail is a nationally recognized nonprofit psychiatric treatment organization offering residential and day treatment programs for adults ages 18 and older with bipolar illness, major depression, schizophrenia and anxiety. Specialized evidence-based programs include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), young adult and first episode for ages 18 to 26, dual diagnosis for individuals with a secondary substance use issue, and social integration. A comprehensive integrated treatment model includes individual and group therapy, medication management, comprehensive assessment and diagnostic services, vocational services, primary care and wellness, family therapy and support services, social skills coaching, and hands-on music, art and horticultural therapies. Insurance is accepted, and financial aid is available.
