Description

Skytop Lodge is the Pocono Mountains' premier family resort and conference center.

The elegance of nature. The luxury of a timeless retreat. An oasis for adventure. Discover the Poconos you never knew existed. Just outside the city, an exceptional experience beckons, where families come together and events become extraordinary. Since 1928, our majestic 5,500-acre escape has been the ultimate destination for time-honored traditions and memory-making.

For generations, we have been memory-makers for those who cherish our unique traditions, creating their own in the process. From the moment our guests enter, they are transported to a more dignified time. Every aspect of their stay is memorable—from the awe-inspiring surroundings as they make their way up the winding road to the Main Lodge, to the welcoming warmth they receive from our attentive staff throughout their stay. It is our mission to make everyone who walks through our doors feel as though they are family. After all, it’s in our nature.

Amazing location and grounds. Paid the premium price for a room that was across from the elevator and under the roof vantage point so it was non-stop noise while trying to sleep which really affected the experience. Otherwise gorgeous area. Restaurants mediocre overall- we tried the taproom windsor and lakeside all decent food but way overpriced
Skytop is a unique experience. While it is very expensive, about $400pp/per day, it is an experience like no other. Relaxing, plenty to do, never boring. Really good food, excellent staff at every glance, and beautiful views no matter where you look. My wife and I have been here about 4 or 5 times over the last 20 years and will keep making Skytop our best destination.
Talk about going back in time! This beautiful hotel gets an A+ for service and the grounds are spectacular. Restaurants feature a wonderful selection of delicious options. Our only complaint would be the rooms. While the rooms are very clean, the carpets are worn and could use an update.Rooms: 4/5
Skytop Lodge is a hidden gem. Located up in the Poconos, it offers an amazing variety of activities that will suit any interest and every age level. My husband and I went up for a long weekend and enjoyed things like kayaking, archery and evening bingo! There are so many different nature walks to take with amazing guides who are so well informed and are always there to answer questions! We were on the bed and breakfast plan and the breakfast was superb! We ended up eating all of our meals on the property and loved every one of them. Not having to get into the car for 4 days straight was lovely! Our only ‘complaint’ would be the additional fees attached to many of the activities. With your reservation you pay a set activity fee but throughout the day we found that we had to pay additional fees for some of the activities. It would have been nice to have had more of that be inclusive.
We just had a two night getaway at Skytop Lodge. It is an absolutely beautiful resort in the Poconos. From the moment you drive up and see the magnificent lodge to when you explore the 5500 hundred acre property you feel pampered all the way. The staff at the front desk and Michael the concierge were extremely helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Alex our hiking guide and butterfly specialist was so knowledgeable and friendly. The indoor pool, outdoor pool and beach were so relaxing. Fishing on the lake was a highlight for us. The restaurants were beautiful and the food was so good! We were originally only booked for 1 night but because we couldn't get enough of this wonderful place we booked another night. We cannot wait to go back! If you have not been to the Poconos in a while definitely go to Skytop Lodge. You will not be disappointed!
Simply an amazing resort to relax and unwind or enjoy one of the many hikes and other activities. From the manager of the restaurant to the permanent and exchange student workers we were made to feel welcome. We've already reserved a return trip for December.Rooms: 5/5
We had an amazing time. Every staff was very welcoming and always helpful. We got fully refreshed from our exhaustion from our regular lives. We truly appreciate their hospitality and strongly recommend this place! 3 females, Japanese from NY P.S. The short hiking with Rick, the guide, was an amazing experience too. Loved it very much. He's incredibly knowledgeable, fun and warm hearted. Rooms: Not big but was beautiful with a great view. It's gotten natural taste. Sophisticated and so relaxing Food & drinks: Food was also great. Loved breakfast especially!
Streamside cabins recommended for best privacy and a little solitude. This is not a highly active and busy resort on the grounds at least when I was there. You have to seek out your activities which I liked. Plenty to do for a few days.Rooms: 4/5
Gorgeous, stately, one of a kind resort with spectacular grounds, stunning views and an abundance of family friendly activities and amenities. Cash bingo was a blast, hiking trails were pristine and breathtakingly beautiful, afternoon tea and cookies/evening campfire s’mores were delicious, employees went above and beyond and were kind, courteous and professional…I could go on and on and on…our entire experience was absolutely divine. My family and I had THE best time creating life long memories together on our trip to the Poconos! Thank you Skytop for providing us a luxurious getaway. We can’t wait to come back!!
I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms and service is excellent. The library bar and the restaurants on the property are excellent! Seasonal dinner outside is a must when it’s offered. Few places allow me to relax as I do here! The staff and management is helpful and accommodating!Rooms: 5/5
