The tunnel is sponsored by Pawtucket Parks & Recreation and is open Friday and Saturday nights throughout October, weather permitting.
What started as a small fundraiser venture to help with the farm animals at Slater Park's Daggett Farm has grown through the years. Through the creative minds and dedicated hard work of young volunteers, the Slater Park Haunted Tunnel has become an anticipated destination on the Halloween haunt list!!! It was the combining of the growing Tunnel, Pumpkins in the Park and activities in the carousel that created the Fright Night in the Park. 2013 will introduce a new addition, "The Woods", to the mix. However, the Tunnel remains the haunt of choice for the older patrons. In fact, the Tunnel is not recommended for children under 10 years of age. Enjoy our photo album of these great volunteers at work and visit "Haunted Tunnel at Daggett Farm" on Youtube for a virtual tour of the Tunnel!
The Haunted Tunnel is broken down into two sections. A 200ft concrete tunnel is host to nine rooms, each individually themed around various fears. The attraction in also home to a large outdoor path including an industrial corn maze, Pumpkin patch, and Cemetery to name a few.
