I've been working with Hannah after a nightmare experience with Hansen's furniture. Hannah is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and even came to my house to help me measure my space. We placed an order for a coffee table set, it should be here in a few weeks. Fingers crossed!
Slaters Home Merced has been wonderful to work with. The staff is very helpful and courteous, never pushy for a sell. The showroom is beautifully arranged and clean where in other stores in the area are not. The furniture is quality. I highly recommend, a rare find.
We just bought a new home and naturally needed new furniture. We had been looking at other stores in the area and were "settling" for something that sort if met our needs. Local friends suggested we check out Slater's. We're new to the area. As we entered the show room, we saw the table of our dreams! Shara greeted us and helped us also find the perfect bedroom set as well as a few other items. Our furniture is solid, well made and classy. Shara is personable, knowledgeable and professional. Best customer service I have ever experienced. Slater's didn't just sell us a couch and some chairs, they helped us pick the perfect couch and chair set for our new home. They had a great selection of styles and colors, and Diana actually visited our house to help us measure and guide us through the process of choosing something that would look great in the room while also fitting with our taste and our lifestyle. There was no pressure to buy, and we were able to take some time to consider options before committing. We'll definitely be going back when we're ready to shop for other furnishings.
The design and quality of the front room furniture I bought was fantastic! The gentleman who delivered it took time to place it in my house and even made a couple of suggestions about how it might look best. Buying local is Very rewarding.
Shara was fantastic! She directed us to the right sofas and chairs for our new home. Her gracious manner and pleasing personality made our decisions at Slater’s effortless. Shara has the experience to see fabric choices that blend and add the right touches to a room. She made what seemed like a daunting task so easy. Any business that has served a small community for over 100 years, has not stayed in business for any other reason than they have always presented their customers as # one! In appreciation of transparency I will also state that their employees are top notch... Including my Daughter!! However, also note that my parents purchased furniture from Slater's in the late 1950's when I was a kid.
We received professional and attentive service. Shara was helpful and patient, without being pushy. We’re loving the comfort and quality of our new furniture.
Great quality furniture. Good selections and if they don't have it, they offer to order it for you. Very friendly but they are not pushy sales people. Been in Merced for years.
