Dr. Monica Woodward began practicing medicine in Naples in 2003, when completing her pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She’s currently the medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center of Southwest Florida, a four-bed facility. She is quadruple boarded in internal, pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. She is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
She joined the sleep center in 2007, and became director in 2012. She continues the standards of excellence established 27 years ago in this practice. In 2013, she also became medical director at PRMC’s two-bed sleep facility.
Today, sleep disorders are an evolving specialty associated with coronary disease, diabetes, hypertension, stroke and dementia.
With referrals from Mayo, Cleveland, Shands, University of Miami and more, for patients visiting, her experienced staff is essential in providing every patient with personalized care.
