DESCRIPTION: Enjoy an authentic horse drawn wagon ride through the woods of Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah as you listen to a colorful narration of Washington Irvine's original short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Be careful as the woods are rumored to be haunted and frequented by the apparition of the Headless Horseman!

AGE GROUPS: Haunted Wagon Rides are intended to be appropriate and entertaining for all age groups, including families with younger children. However, please be aware that the later it gets in the evening the experience naturally becomes more scary because of the darkness.

WHERE: Sleepy Hollow Haunted Wagon Rides is hosted by Rocky Mountain Outfitters at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah. Approximately 25 minutes from Provo, 20 minutes from Park City and less than an hour from Salt Lake City, Utah. Get directions HERE.

Came here with my wife and another couple. Google maps originally took us to a cemetary, but we eventually figured it out. Inspite of missing our scheduled time, Sleepy Hollow was really accommodating and gave us our own tractor for our group. The experience was great and the actors were really friendly. I've never gotten friendly fist bumps from actors after scaring our group until now and we all had a good laugh. The live horses were a nice touch as well. Could use a couple more scares but this is their first year here and I'm sure it'll get better.
Our family loved this wagon ride! We ended up going twice this Halloween season! If you go while there is still daylight, it’s less creepy and better for kids. At night it’s creepier and fun! It’s so awesome to see the Headless Horseman riding by your side! The management is fantastic and there are fun things to do while waiting for your ride.
We had so much fun in 2021 on your ride and was looking forward to joining you once more in 2022. We will be back in 2023 and hope the construction will be completed. See you soon.
