We came to the Smash in Castle Rock today and wanted to use a coupon for BOGO and was told they don’t accept those coupons. The cashier stated his manager is not accepting the coupons because he did not sign up for them. Was unwilling to get a manger to come talk to us and didn’t not take the coupon either. If anyone in Castle Rock has these coupons be aware they are not accepting them and won’t please the customer by honoring them either.
Used to love smash burger and haven’t been since Covid. Food is now flavorless and unseasoned. Employees all have attitude and made the order wrong not once, not twice, but three times. When we asked for it to be corrected, it was met with an eye roll and silence. Save your money and go to another burger joint in town. If I was the manager, I’d be extremely embarrassed. Minimum wage workers doing minimum wage effort work.
Smallest portions I’ve ever seen for the price. They also forgot half of the ingredients on my bbq bacon burger which doesn’t make too much sense. Had to go back up to get both onion straws and bbq sauce? Like what senseFood: 1/5
The menu has changed since the last time I enjoyed a smash burger. However, service is still out of sight, and they helped me order what I like. So this made me super happy.Food: 5/5
PARENTS BEWARE! Came to smashburger with my daughter. Ordered her the kids cheeseburger meal. Asked for ketchup mustard and pickles on it. They deleted the kids cheeseburger meal off the register and started a build your own adult. Was told you can't add condiments to a kids meal. They then were going to charge extra for fries and drink. So don't come here with kids if they like ketchup on their burger and think you can get a kids meal.
I had not been to smash burger in a long time and I took a friend for his birthday today because he had never tried smash burger. When I approached the cashier she acted as if she was not happy to see me and I have never seen this young lady before a day in my life, but what she did afterwards really bothered me and I had to call her out on her behavior. Their was a rug by my table and she came over their with a broom and started sweeping the rug and sweeping all the dirt towards me. I looked at her and was wondering why she was being so inconsiderate towards me. Finally I said to her, I'm allergic to dirt and dust and your sweeping it towards my face and our table. Then she said oh I'm sorry and I said why would you do that to me. I'm wondering if it was because I'm black. She frowned when I walked in the door then she sweeps dust towards my face and table. It was all on purpose,. I hope you have cameras so you can look at the footage and see what I'm talking about. It was sad. I almost asked for my money back and left. Seriously. This Smash Burger is located right by the outlet stores. We arrived around 6:30p on a Sunday night and there was a decent line. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to order our food. The brussel sprouts we're tasty and the burgers we're about average. Clean location, decent prices.
Quick bite after the museum. Five people ate and everyone had different ratings, from 3 to 5 Stars. I ordered the Avocado Bacon Club and asked the cashier if it was any different than the Bacon Smash, cashier just nodded his head. Burger was good, fries were great and fountain coke was perfectly blended. Restrooms were clean. We did ask attendant to clean our outside table which he very quickly did. Masks are a must and Social Diatancing is required. Enjoy!!!
Amazing food, great service. Very clean restaurant the gm was very professional and took our order and when he brought the food out to us made sure it was correct which it was and even checked on us half way threw our meal to see how we liked it. Amazing serviceFood: 5/5
Never been to a Smashburger because I live out of state. They were supposed to be something special from what I heard. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for our food for an unknown reason. We agreed to wait and went to the bathroom in order to wash our hands. You know, Covid thing before we ate. The first bathroom had no water or towels or hand dryer and had used towels all over the floor. The next bathroom had water but no towels or dryer. Napkins from the dining room did the trick. The burger, when it came, tasted good but was not overwhelming good for the hype, and the nearly $4 large Smash fries was small and not worth the price either. In print, the food looks amazing. In reality, no where close and the condition of the store was not clean. We were very disappointed and will not visit a Smashburger again.
