At Smiles For Mile, Richard Salm DDS/FAGD, John Moser DDS, and their team have creat a caring and comfortable environment that will enhance your dental care experience. Dr. Salm's "FAGD" distinction is a result of extensive hours of continuing education in his field and represents the commitment that we have at Smiles For Miles to excellence in our field. We use modern technology such as CEREC same day crowns, digital radiography, intra-oral cameras, dental laser, and magnification/illumination in order to attain the amazing results achievable in today's dental world. All of this is done while developing close relationships with our patients so that they have an "at home" feeling when they visit our office. Very much recommend Smiles for Miles Dentistry! Staff are friendly, informative, and do a well job cleaning teeth! Atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Dr. Richard Salm is also very friendly, informative, and is determined to have your teeth the best they can be! His recommendations and knowledge ease the minds of patients knowing their dental is in good hands!
I've been a patient for many years. Excellent care and I've had about four crowns and front tooth fillings to remove a gap. They take dental care very seriously and I am happy with the results. They work closely with my insurance for timing and best costs.
After several years of neglecting my dental health, I had a filling cave in due to a large cavity that formed underneath. They took me in quite quickly and were able to examine the situation/refer me for a tooth extraction. I became a patient for about 4-5 months, but felt it wasn't the best dental office for me. Somewhere along the way, there was a miscommunication about a concern I had. My insurance was maxed out at that time or so I thought and the next appointment would have been fully out of pocket. It was suggested that I could wait until the next year for insurance to kick in again, if I wanted to have more dental work done. I really wanted one tooth to be looked at due to the filling looking like it was wearing out/caving in, so I made an appt to have that one filling examined and/or re-done. Before that appt, I made a call to my insurance and found out about my rollover benefits. I had informed the clinic to let them know just so they could bill my insurance instead, for that upcoming appt. When that day came- I was told that since I have a good rollover balance, I could get some small fillings buffed and worked on instead of just one. I was fine with that, but after the appt, I realized the one tooth I requested for examination/refilling was never touched on. It made me really confused about whether I was clear enough about which tooth I had a concern about, when scheduling that appt. I did return to the office to inquire about the tooth and was told right away it was in an ok condition per the xrays. I think Dr. Salm and his staff do try their best to be diligent and offer their best services. I just personally felt the communication didn't work well for me. I wouldn't discourage people from going here though. This clinic may be the right fit for you, even if it was not for me. *UPDATE: In response to the feedback of my review, I believe and stand firm in that I have a right to feel how I feel, about how my experience turned out. I apologize that it is not a rating you would have liked. I should clarify that regarding me questioning whether I made myself clear when I asked Dawn at the front desk to have an appt be made for a tooth filling on the lower right side of my mouth because I noticed it was caving in, I don't know how much more specific I needed to be? I'm sorry if I don't know the numbering of the teeth as you do. I described it as best as I could to make sure the tooth that I was concerned about would stand out. Rather than me accusing your staff and office of not noting that correctly when scheduling the appt, I found it to be kind and considerate that I reflected whether I had not been clear enough. I may be wrong, but the tone of response I'm getting from you is also not appreciated. It would have been nice if I saw more reflection coming from you instead of feeling like fingers are being pointed at me as the sole issue. It takes two to tango. Thank you.

After a long period of neglecting my teeth I saw Jill and Dr Salm this morning to get a cleaning and consultation on future work. They were super nice and struck a good balance between not making me feel bad about the shape of my teeth and making sure I knew what I needed to do going forward. The office is beautiful and everyone I worked with there has been super friendly. I was expecting a pretty huge estimate for the future work just because the office is so nice and all the equipment is obviously quite new and up-to-date but I was pleasantly surprised at the quote. I found this place from a random Google search and am happy I did. Highly recommended from me.
I was in today for the first time in a few years & was a bit nervous. The hygienist I had was SO sweet, and I really liked her! She was patient, and knowing I have TMJ kept asking during the cleaning how I was doing. It was great to know my needs weren’t forgotten about! The music also was great. I almost started singing in the lobby. Dr Salm was also very friendly as usual, and I couldn’t be happier with my visit. From the desk staff and dental staff, start to finish I had a very enjoyable trip to the dentist. Thank you!
The entire staff is kind and very respectful to my family's need. The hygienist are gentle and very thorough in cleaning our teeth. They' also explain the condition of our teeth and gums in terms we understand. Dr. Salm is very nice and I trust him taking care of my entire family of six! I highly recommend this dentist to anyone!!!
I would give Dr. Salm and his team 5 stars! They are always kind, even when the office is busy, and they take the time to explain things that are important to me. I had 2 cavities that needed to be drilled. I was quite frightened about the prospect of him drilling and the anesthetic, etc. But Dr. Salm put me at ease and I did not experience any pain. I Loved the teeth cleaning I received from Jill 2-19-2019. She did a thorough job. My teeth felt so clean and smooth. I liked how she polished my teeth she made sure the polishing tool worked between the teeth as well as just the top surfaces of the teeth. She has a nice personality too. She is a keeper, Dr. Salm!
Each time I've gone into the office, I've walked in with anxiety and walk out with a smile. Right away, Amy and Cam make you feel welcome and explain everything with great detail. Each visit I've had with Carla has been wonderful and things are done wonderfully. Dr. Salm eases and anxiety and ensures you're comfortable throughout your whole visit. The treatment plan is well thought out and communicated well. I love that I have such a wonderful dental office close to home.
