"Jeff is a 6th generation sugarmaker with a passion to make Award Winning VT Maple Syrup. We remain current with technology, including solar power, but will not sacrifice color, clarity, density or flavor. We also raise 100% Grassfed-Grassfinished Beef and sell retail cuts along with our VT Maple Syrup in our Farm Store Wednesday - Friday 10a - 6 pm and Saturday - Monday 10a – 5pm, thru our online website and at a few small local stores. If you are coming to the farm be sure to bring a cooler and stock up on both our VT Maple Syrup, Beef & Sweet treats. We look forward to seeing or hearing from you. I was traveling through the area and happen to come across this place. The owners could not have been nicer! They were so friendly and knowledgeable about the all the products made during the maple syrup process. I also experienced a "flight" of maple syrup and learned the differences in taste and uses of each level from light to very dark. I was planning to get Vermont Maple Syrup at some point on my trip and I am so glad I stopped here. I didn't just buy maple syrup - I purchased the syrup I knew I would really enjoy. What a great little shop and it is well worth the stop if you are anywhere near Shrewsbury, VT.
An incredible experience. The owners are extremely passionate, kind and educate you on everything you need to know before making a purchase. it is an enjoyable experience. The burgers and steak are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The syrup is so good - we also got the pancake mix which was phenomenal.Rooms: 5/5
What an amazing family own business that is more than friendly and more than kind with their prices and especially the quality of their meats they sell. I love local family business and am beyond happy to support them while being able to feed my family meats better than any supermarket offers. If you enjoy great meat with beyond great prices and wanna support local family's than you won't be disappointed.
We met the owner who was really friendly and informative about the process of producing maple. We enjoyed tasting the different flavors and examining the machines. Highly recommend the place!

What a wonderful experience! Mary was an absolute delight and a wonderful teacher keeping all our kids enthralled with her explanation of how syrup ends up on their pancakes! Mary took time out of her day to share all of the details involved in making maple syrup and gave us all a deep appreciation for the work involved. She even let us do a taste testing of all the varieties of syrup — with a hilariously fun twist that we won’t spoil for you! Everything was delicious. And Mary was generous in sharing recipes and cooking suggestions as well. And it will be so nice to enjoy knowing the very hands that made the syrup we put on our table! Don’t hesitate. Smith Maple Crest Farm is work the trip. And you can add on a stop at the nearby suspension bridge “hike” that’s part of the AT. It was beautiful and easy.
Great experience! The best maple farm in the area owned and led by two wonderful and passionate people. We showed up at closing, but Mary welcomed us anyways in the best way possible! She set up a flight of syrup sample each of which was of superior quality and talked us through each quality and style. This made it a pleasure to discover our favorite. Since they make also international shipping I will have it sent to Italy soon!

I really enjoyed stopping by Smith Maple Crest farm. The owners were delightful and very helpful. I got the best maple syrup at their store in Vermont. I am so glad I stopped by their store. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a cute little store and I will definitely be back next time I’m in Vermont. Thank you again!
Stumbled upon this place as we were searching for maple syrup farms and this place made our trip complete! Mary was very welcoming and informative about the syrup making process. She let us sample all of the types of syrup and other goodies that they make in house. All of the syrups were delicious but the homemade maple cream was our favorite!! Come by and support this family's farm. You will not be disappointed!
