Awesome place to camp and hang out! The whole area was surprisingly clean, the water was cool, not cold, and so clear you could count the rocks on the bottom! It's just amazing. Take the family and have a great time! Only gets 4 stars, though, because the bathroom there had OBVIOUSLY not been serviced in quite some time. It was filthy dirty, and there was no toilet paper... be sure to bring your own.
The most stunning river in the world.
Such a beautiful drive to the coast, love seeing the beautiful Smith River.
The views here are gorgeous. You can swim, fish, paddleboard, float, kayak here. The water is emerald green with lots of mountains surrounding the river. The river can be very deep and fast rapids.

Just came back from kayaking and swimming in the Smith River. Amazing is an understatement. Fabulous scenery, very clean water, and truly a magnificent River.
Always VERY beautiful and not too warm or cold. Great river to go to if you like the giant redwoods. The water is freezing except for the hight of summer though.
Absolutely gorgeous! A beautiful river to sit by with friends and family to have a picnic or to walk nearby trails. You can paddle board, kayak, or fish. Contemplate life.
