Smithfield's Chicken N Bar-B-Q

You use to have a 5 star from me, just deleted because we had the most awful take out meal. Our food was basically inedible. Stale cold fries and super dry chicken that reminds me of something overcooked and set under a food lamp for hours. In todays economy it sucks to waste money on food you cannot eat. I would very much like a refund or a credit for a chance at making it right. Saving my receipt in case someone in charge wants to reach out.

New review. On September 9th I visited this location and ordered a BBQ dinner with Brunswick stew and coleslaw. Hushpuppies were very small and thin. BBQ was salty oddly on part of the portion and not seasoned on some of the rest. Nothing like the food I had gotten in the past.

I don’t know why here is good at all. Ordered drumsticks and when I got home and opened. It looked good outside while inside is not even cooked at all. Ordered like 6-7pieces and none of them were cooked all the way. They must been busy making money while serving uncooked drumsticks. Never going back here again.

This place always has banging food. The fries and chicken are always crispy and delicious. Their banana pudding is incredible. Update: I tried their chicken tenders for the first time last week and they are amazing. Quite possibly the best chicken tenders of all time. They are super crispy and invigorating . Knocks bojangles and many other places off the cliff

Not sure what has happened to this store but it was uncharacteristically filthy on our last visit. Tables had not been wiped down and the restroom was dirty. Everything had the appearance of neglect. The service and food were good as usual.Food: 4/5

I give it 5 stars simply because of the service. Quan was the most awesome dude who’s ever taken my order. He is lively, polite, and does his job well. The food was also good.

I have to say the Bbq, Brunswick stew & coleslaw were excellent! The Bbq was juicy & cooked just right. Amanda was very helpful when taking my order today. This experience was completely opposite of my previous one at another location a wk ago.

First time visitor. Staff and service was better than the food. Baked beans were good. If ever in the area again I would give it a second try but order something different.Food: 3/5

The food is always amazing and consistent from location to location. The manager and staff are always very kind and courteous. Never a disappointment.Food: 5/5

I waited for over 5 minutes for someone to answer at the drive through, and they did so only after me calling out for someone to tell them I was ready to order. The person who answered told me to hold on. After a few more minutes, they finally took my order. I spent almost $40, waited even more time to actually get my food. I got all the way home almost 30 minutes away and found that part of my order was missing, and part of it was poorly prepared. About half of my hushpuppies were undercooked; the potato salad was mayonnaise and hardly any potatoes, the cole slaw was soupy! My tailgate special came with barbecue... that was missing altogether! The chicken was the only good part of the meal. 8 pieces of chicken was definitely NOT worth what I spent. I'm thoroughly disappointed. ***the picture shown is what I was SUPPOSED to get***
