My friend recommended visiting here because they have the best sandwiches from their deli and I agree! The whole atmosphere of the general store was like stepping back in time. I really enjoyed stopping here for lunch.
Absolutely incredible sub. Might be the best I’ve had in my life. My father told me about this place a few months ago and to be honest, I did not believe him. Finally made the trip out there last week and oh my goodness. $11 for a massive sub with tons of meat and cheese. This place should be all over Food Network.
The best sub you will ever eat!!! I crave these subs on the daily, worth the drive for sure. They’re homemade chocolate chip cookies are the best too. Great scenery on the way there.
Been going there for at least 30 years. Best subs around and HUGE. Also salads are great, pizza is the best and HOMEMADE DESSERTS!

Stopped in this little town after shopping in Johnson City Masks required and I was glad to hear that. The store was very clean with a homey atmosphere. We bought subs they were huge and filled with more ham than I'd ever seen in one sub anywhere the rules were fresh the meat was the vegetables and the cheese. Stop by on your way through and probably one sub would be meal enough for two people we thought so
Great old adirondack type General Store. Three times the meat in my sub than I've ever had in my many years! Good mac and potato salads too. Nice people. Worth the trip.

Have enjoyed this establishment since I was a youngster. Great food, prices and people. The following is a honest to goodness true story! Recently, I stopped into the store. I wanted to pick out a sweet treat for my favorite Uncle. With my thoughts scattered about....and half way back home...I could NOT recollect where I had placed my envelope of money! I immediately called the store and was pleased to be greeted with, "we've got it".!!!! I was never so grateful! Thank you. ...soooo much! Fortunate me!!!! ... Honorable folks had my back! My disastrous day turned around in an instant! It was definitely a huge deal to me and still keeps me smiling! XOXO
The absolute best place to get homemade fresh subs full of everything! One sub can last for 4 meals unless you are a big eater!
