Smokin' Pig BBQ is family owned and operated by Telisha Gibson and Keith & Patricia Adams. We started in 2009 cooking for benefits and fundraisers around Carroll, Haralson, Douglas County and East Alabama. Cooking BBQ became a hobby of ours that we all really enjoyed along with having the oportunity to get to know a lot of really great people. Cooking and owning our own restaurant become a dream that one day we prayed would come true. In 2011 we purchased a mobile concession unit and began handling the concessions at the West Georgia Mud Park in Tallapoosa, Georgia. We were excited to announce that in May 2012 our dreams came true and we became the proud new owners of a location in Bowdon, Georgia previously known as the "Pit Stop BBQ" and opened our family owned restaurant in June 2012 after renovations and remodeling. Not only were we excited about our dream coming true to own our own restaurant but we were also blessed enough for it to be in our home town of the "Friendly City" of Bowdon. We will still offer catering of special events, company picnics, family reunions, weddings, birthday parties, holiday events or any other occasion you may have. Nothing too big and nothing too small so give us a call. We have a list of recommendations that can be provided upon request that we have offered our catering services to previously.

We strive to provide you with the best quality food in a family friendly atmosphere where you feel at home. We take much pride in our work in preparing some the best food you will every eat. During the week we offer a meat and vegetable lunch where the menu is uploaded daily. Our food is just like home cooked meals and you can't beat them. We have a cook with over 20 years experience that makes everything you eat from scratch, nothing instant and nothing out of the box. We smoke all of our meats here on the premises daily using a mixture of hickory wood and apple wood.
We currently also have specials on Thurs. Nights of Smoked Prime Rib. It is delicious and unique with a light smoke flavor.
Friday Night Special is Prime Rib and Catfish Fillet.
Saturday Night Special is all you can eat BBQ and Chicken Livers. We also offer chicken livers by the plate.
We have smoked wings also on a daily basis that are available in Mild, Hot, Lemon Pepper, Buffalo BBQ or Plain.
