Had a great time as a ladies trip. We arrived late and they were very accommodating and understanding. The equipment was in good shape and no issues with getting in or out of the river. Shuttle arrived promptly when we called. Bathrooms were in good shape. The river is beautiful and there are plenty of places to get out and stretch your legs. Overall I thought it was amazing and I will definitely return.

The river monster sandwich was totally awesome along with the fresh house made kettle chips! Wife had the club sandwich which she thought was really small and not much meat. There are a bunch of things on the menu that sounded good. Service was good but really slow. Took over 45min to get our food probably due some bigger parties that were ahead of us. Will definitely go back when in that area again.

Always a great experience when we float the river here. New Kayaks were very nice. Also everyone was very friendly and helpful even the driver of the shuttle was eager to help with our questions. Very knowledgeable as well. We'll be back again.

I was able to grab a beer and catch the band while they were winding down for the evening. Staff was great and friendly. Beverage was cold and tasty, children and adults dancing to the music. It was fantastic! *chefs kiss*

When we got there, they were working on  a lot of upgrades, and we got stuck in the mud, in the middle of their freshly excavated campground. The owner, Mickey, comes out with his truck he just washed, with a tow cable and straps and pulled us out. And then offered us one of their tents for our “inconvenience”, even though we just rutted out his campground. We went on the 8 mile kayak, and while we were gone, he checked in on our dogs and in tangled them from their outs. The restaurant also has amazing service, and the food was delicious. We bought wood to make a fire, and they wouldn’t even let us load it into the truck. These people treat you like they have known you their whole life. We will definitely be going back. 10/10 recommend!

I ordered the pepper branch burger to go and it was super tasty. Not that spicy but I'm a heat-lover. I asked for a side of their chunky blue cheese and it complemented great I used to dip my fries. They got it right and it was hot even though I was driving from 35min away.Food: 5/5

We love Smooth Rapids! All of the staff are super friendly, helpful when you have questions, and attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions. We love that we can sit on the porch year round and enjoy the view of the river while we eat our food. I love the barren fork burger and sweet potato fries. Their wings are great too, and the fried green tomatoes are just like my grandma made. Hands down my favorite place to eat in McMinnville. It's always super clean, too, even the bathrooms!

The food was good and pretty quick.  However 2 out of 5 fans on the deck was pretty wobbly.Food: 5/5

These folks are the best. We've been visiting to camp, kayak & eat at least once a year ever since they opened. Every year they have found new ways to improve on what was already a great experience. Owners are hardworking & super friendly. They've always gone out of their way to make sure our stay is amazing, and it always is!Food: 5/5
