Snook started out as a simple hammock company. We loved hammocks and knew that pretty much everyone loved them too. More importantly, we wanted to give back. We started by giving a portion of our revenue to conservation efforts. As our customer base grew we started to get different recommendations about where we should send our donations. We have gone from endangered species to water wells in Africa to human trafficking. This is when we realized something important.
We believe that by giving, you receive more. There are a lot of companies that believe the same thing. You buy a product and they give back to a good cause. However, a lot of times we just don’t know about them. This is why we expanded our website. We wanted a place where all these different companies could sell their products together. A place where a consumer interested in supporting good causes can buy good gear and give back at the same time.
