It's my home turf and my #1 area to enjoy the metro parks in. Snow Rd. Picnic has a wonderful playground for the little ones and plenty of running room for them to let loose some energy. The bathrooms are maintained well and there is a nice area over by the Big Creek to sit and watch the water go by... A great place overall. My only complaint is that sometimes it gets TOO crowded and it seems that today's kids don't have the same manners as my generation and the park can get littered up pretty bad in the summer months.
I love the metro parks picnic area. The Pavillion is big enough for medium sized gatherings. The open space is perfect for kids to play in.
The area has 3 open picnic shelters. You can get to the trails from any parking lot. Following the path north, across Snow Road and you can pick the trail up to Fernhill picnic area. This area has less foot traffic than State Road.
This is such a beautiful place, nothing but nature all around. Anyone who loves the great outdoors should visit. I took my youngest grandson with me & we enjoyed ourselves so much, this is now our spot.
It’s a wonderful place to spend a day walk through the park is a great idea and see some strange birds and animals other than deer and squirrels clean and safe
This park is very majestic u can walk the hole circular park with your dog . people just drive by n probably live in the area but never seen how beautiful it is....have to see it for themselves
Clean and natural with swing sets for children. We saw a coyote near the fenced off growing area

It was very quiet and peaceful. My bird and I stopped to enjoy lunch and the beauty of this day. There are indoor bathrooms as well as walking paths. Thus location provides the ability to be close or far from people. It also has plenty of wild life. I live the great outdoors. Great for a picnic and or big gatherings. Get out there and explore this area
