Snyder Parent Council
Purposes
Section 1. Purposes. The Snyder High Parent Council Members consider these factors in their work to enhance the educational experience for students, and allow the school to achieve success.
a. Meaningful parent involvement.
b. A positive and supportive learning environment.
c. Community involvement.
d. To serve as the central governing body of the school under the school-based management/shared decision-making model.
e. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship,
f. To raise the standards of home life,
g. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth, and
h. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
