Open 24 hours so good for 2nd / 3rd shifters and night owls. 50% of machines are always down. Has gotten cleaner recently. Now has AC in the facility. WiFi and TV are gone/down. No staff onsite so if you have an issue call the phone number on the door in the back for 24 hour answering service. Soaprize card machine is a little tricky. $1.00 for their card need a *1 dollar bill or CC to get it then add cash or Credit/Debit to the Soaprize card. If using credit/debit the increments are $5, $10, $20 and $40. Cash is any denomination $1 up to $20 bills. Dryers are $0.25 for 6 minutes per swipe. Swipe multiple times to add more time. Note: When using the dryer, only add $0.25/6 minutes and feel the glass window to make sure it heats. Then swipe it multiple times to get the desired time. Save you money and waste of time if you run an errand and come back to wet/cold clothes.
They need to fix some washers and dryers. Give it some love. What's working does the job. Conveniently quiet place to do your laundry and relax
Half the machines are broken and you have to buy a pay card and then when you load it is in increments of 5 but the laundry costs $3-$3.50 so you’ll always have a balance on your card. Aka they get free money from you.
Used to be kept clean, machines were maintained regularly but it's gone downhill in recent years. Laundry card system is often down or difficult to use. They are open 24 hours but I've been told that you don't want to be there after a certain hour because there can be homeless and rough types who come in just to hang out like it's their personal living room/bathroom. And the bathroom...yikes! They also allow people to wash used filthy horse blankets in the machines and don't sanitize them after. The amount of hair and grime that was in the two washers--ugh. Awful!
This laundromat is large with lots of machines and quite clean. However, the machines do not accept cash. You have to obtain a payment card and put money on it using cash or card through their machines. I did not find them easy to use. The card then is used in each washer and dryer, which automatically deducts the amount for that machine. The dryers take $0.25 for 6 minutes, and I was unable to figure out how to add more than 6 minutes at a time. All in all, my experience was frustrating.
It's convenient, but very dirty. Please contact me and we can arrange a service where I can come and steam the machines for you. Someone mentioned a homeless issue, but it's not crazy. There's two guys that usually just sit there and mind their business. They haven't bothered me and I've gone by myself from 11pm - 4am. A lot of the washers are down right now. If you don't want the business, maybe sell it to someone who has the time to clean it. I will also fill your vending machines. This is the only 24 hour laundry close by. We could go to Greenville or Amherst. Y'all need some competition to make y'all respect the public.
I usually come late at night, which being this is the only not-sketchy 24 hr laundry around means I think it's pretty great. It has chairs with charging stations for my phone and things. The machines aren't great. They need cleaning and repairs, but most seem fine.
This place is the cleanest laundry mat I've ever been to. Of course I checked out the restrooms and it was spotless as well. Thankfully another customer was there to show me how to get a card and put money on it or I wouldn't have figured it out and then I was able to help someone else out. Highly recommend if you need a laundromat. They have different size washers and the dryers all worked.
It was dirty and half the machines weren’t working. There were two bins of wet clothes sitting by the front door that smelled absolutely terrible of mildew, they’d clearly been sitting there for a while. I only came here because it was closest to home and I desperately needed laundry done after my washer died; any other laundromat will be worth the drive.
