S/V Soggy Dollar is a privately owned sailboat used for pleasure and entertainment.
The S/V Soggy Dollar is a 1987 MacGregor single mast vessel with a Main Sail and a Jib/Genoa Head Sail. She has a Swing Keel, and 15 hp Honda motor on board. She is equipped with a head, sink, and 2 burner stove. She has been completely rewired and upgraded to LED Lighting inside and out. Located below deck is a small galley - salon for dining, a couch, and private sleeping quarters. Soggy Dollar also has 2 marine ship to shore radios, and a sound system composed of Bose Speakers and a Pioneer Amplifier that hooks to your iPod giving a variety of music.
Her history started originally in LaPine, Oregon then spent some time in Idaho before being moved again to Olympia, Washington around June 2007 and was renamed "Sweet Ride". She sailed primarily in the Puget Sound area while in Washington before being relocated back to Oregon in March 2009 where she is now .
Once relocated back in Oregon she was completely renovated inside and out. In June of 2009 she was put back in the water in Lake Tahoe, Nevada for her maiden voyage with her new name, the S/V Soggy Dollar. Her home port is now out of the Portland Yacht Club on the Columbia River.
