It was a beautiful, warm and sunny afternoon on the Poulsbo waterfront and I was in the mood for Italian food. We actually arrived a bit prior to their scheduled opening time so we were able to pop down a few doors to the delightful tea shop. Our server, Mae, was absolutely wonderful; attentive, helpful and very friendly. She seated us on the patio as soon as we arrived. The food was fantastic! So much flavor, perfectly cooked and presentation was on point. The focaccia bread is nothing short of sinfully delicious. This was our first time dining here and we'll definitely return. Dietary restrictions: GF menu options available.
We were celebrating my wife's birthday. Had the kids and her mother with us. We just returned from spending a month in Italy and wanted to share our dining experiences with our family. The food is similar in a lot of ways, but the ambiance just not the same. More energy in Italy, much more selections on the menu, and of course lots more Italian wines. An italian menu has four main sections: apetizer, first course, second course, side dishes. From the appetizer we had a tray of olives. There were plenty of each of three different types. I had the Linguini Bolognese, which was good and large serving size. Took some home to enjoy later. My wife had the smoked salmon Linguine, she was disappointed, the smoked salmon was too weak in flavor to pop and wound up just being a background flavor and not the pronounced flavor. My mother-in-law and son-in-law both had the Crab & Scallop, they both enjoyed it and cleaned their plates first. Daughter had the Penne all Genovese, and enjoyed it. I also had a glass of Chianti Red wine, which was good and an excellent accompaniment for the rich pasta flavors. So a meal at Sogno di Vino is a good choice for introduction experience to Italy.
Super friendly staff, truly working together. It was a pleasure to watch as well as experience. We saw several employees going above and beyond to make dining comfortable and excellent for elderly people, the disabled, and children, etc. Really fantastic to see this! Not only that, oh em gee, the upstairs bar is a cozy spot for their pear lemon drop martini! Dining on the main floor is a calm, pleasant experience with foods like focaccia, risotto, pizza, pasta. And bonus, their coffee is really good, and I am talking about plain black coffee. Very nice after dinner to warm up before heading outside. So yup, recommended! Notes: This place is in an older building. Spaces such as the entrance are a little tight during busy times, so be patient. Parking is available on street or also in the big lot one street over.
Great atmosphere and a nice space with what feels like semi-private tables. The salads are extremely small, overdressed by a lot, and very expensive. The pastas are really good. The pizza was super, super greasy. The dinner bread was served in a pool of oil. Prices were high. The Brule trio was very good. There is very little parking available on the street. The deserts are amazing. Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring small children. There is also no kid menu. Parking: Parking is limited and on the street.
They had a good selection of Italian menu and they are all genuine. Their appetizers, pizza, and pastas are just so good. Cheese on pizza is so fresh and the dough is also amazing. It’s never greasy and just so great.Food: 5/5
We had the pancetta wrapped scallops and crab scallop linguine. Both were excellent. Our server Ali recommended a Bottle of L’Ecole Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington state. We all enjoyed it. Ali was an excellent server. Sitting on the outdoor patio was nice. Restaurant was clean and modern.
The bread has a toasted smoky flavor that sets it apart from other Italian restaraunts. The water tastes great. Immaculately clean, tasteful interior. I'd tell you what I had but I'm sure the spelling will elude me, so I'll show you. The whole meal was incredible. I'd recommend this wholesome place to people who aren't usually interested in Italian food. Great service from the hosts and our server. We will be back. Thank you for a great Veterans Day experience.
The food here hasnt disappointed our group of 8 in any of our visits, last week I had the best risotto Ive ever eaten came with the lamb skewer the chefs know what theyre doing and our waitress was wonderful too. The bolognese just divine, and also the tomato pesto ravioli! We will be returning for sure!Food: 5/5
We had a wonderful dinner here. It’s a nice and cozy place with really tasty Italian food. We got a pizza, crab and bay scallops linguine, mascarpone and pumpkin raviolis and we loved all of it. We finished it off with a goat cheese cheesecake and the panna cotta, I think anything you’d order here would be delicious. To top it all off the service was wonderful!
Nestled in the cute town of Poulsbo, this by far is one of my favorite Italian restaurant I've ever visited. The food was fresh, the decor was spot on and the service was quick and friendly. Our family of 9 enjoyed all our food. From the pizza to the pastas. The shrimp linguine was such a delight and the pizzas we ordered were all cooked to perfection.
