Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of communities, neighborhoods and the people of Solano County.
The Solano Coalition for Better Health (Coalition) understands that healthy people build stronger, happier, and more productive communities. By working together and focusing the talent and dedication of Solano County, we are working to end the cycle of illness and disease that impacts the length and quality of life for all of our community members.
The Coalition also provides a forum for many individuals and community organizations through its role as community advocate for positive change in the health status of the Solano County community. In collaboration with its health, education, government, business, and other community organization partners, the Coalition advocates to improve the health and quality of life in the Solano County community.
The Coalition relies on private grants and donations from foundations and individuals to support many of our community programs. The Coalition, however, also conducts fundraising activities throughout the year. Our three major fundraising events are the Classic for Kids Golf Tournament, the SKIP Raffle, and the Carolyn Emmett Memorial Fund.
We welcome the opportunity for new partnerships, volunteers, and donations. The Coalition staff, management, and board of directors would like to thank you for your interest in our nonprofit organization.
