My name is Pete Mayo and I am the owner/therapist at Solid Foundations Counseling LLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor in State of Wisconsin and have been a therapist for over a decade.
I started this practice for kids, adolescents and adults but my true wish is to help the youth of our community. All too often kids and young adults do not receive the care they need or parents cannot find it and I want to be available to do what I can to help our youth build their coping skills as they grow and prepare for the future.
Counseling can seem scary, difficult or even intimidating but I focus on humor and being up front and honest. No matter what the age my clients are all individuals with their own stories and we will work together to achieve goals that are created by myself and the client as a team. Sometimes people just need someone neutral to talk to, learn how to fine tune their thoughts, or need guidance on various issues in their lives. I am here to walk with clients and guide them in their journey towards growth and change.
