Lovely hotel and location. Our bed was super comfy with a lovely view of Miami. The receptionist that we dealt with was just really unfriendly and made us feel a bit unwelcome. This was my first time in the US and Miami and she made me feel super silly and was not being helpful at all. Actually both ladies working at reception was quite awful. Otherwise great stay.
Let me start off by saying the front desk staff is STELLAR. Incredible people there, and the location is unbeatable. But, there were some problems that made me give it a lower rating. Serious bug issues, came across several cockroaches during my stay which is unpleasant to say the least. Additionally, the restaurant and bar is closed for what I’m guessing is at least a few more months, and they really don’t make mention of it on the website. The hotel as a whole is also pretty loud, which it’s Miami so is expected, but something to note. It’s decent, I’d stay again if I needed too, but otherwise would look elsewhere. But seriously, no slight against the staff, really incredible people working there.
Spent 9 days in a room I rented through air b&b. It was an efficiency apartment and had everything I needed. I was on the 9th floor with a room overlooking the pool, Peacock Park, and the bay. Beautiful view. The hotel staff was very friendly. Maria at the front desk is a total sweetheart. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Walkability: Plenty of shops, boutiques and restaurants within a 2 minutes walk. The yacht club and fresh market are a 5 minutes walk towards the bay.
Great hotel great location, near the water Nice park across the street. Close to a vibrant night life scene. The only downside is the parking.... 2 choices park public lot, $30. Or valet at hotel around $36. One would think they would be more reasonable for their guests.Rooms: 5/5
I'd say this is more of a 4.5 star vs. 4 The location was good. The parking was okay. The elevators were terrible. One working elevator the whole weekend. Nice pool, great views. The front desk service was fabulous. Walkability: Near good restaurants
It was my first trip at Miami and I was very confused about the Hotel rooms. After entering the room I was amazed seeing the rooms and the view from balcony completely mesmerized me. The pool water was clean and view from the pool was also nice. This hotel is also accessible for wheelchair. There stuff behavior was very nice. Rooms: The rooms are very neat and clean.Very spacious rooms with great view. Walkability: There is good space for walk. Also accessible for wheelchair.
Hotel was in a great location. The front desk person was great but she was alone. so check in was slow because she had to do it all check in answer the phone, attend to the store. To add insult to injury the elevators were not working. Only one was working sometimes two with the service elevator. Two were out of commission. I also had to do laundry and the hotel could not provide change so I had to venture to merchants unwilling to give me change. Walkability: You can walk to restaurants, movies, ice cream, CVS and almost everything you need in walking distance.
Solid hotel, rooms decently comfortable and pretty clean. Staff could be friendlier and more welcoming, but overall not a bad experience. Don’t expect access to a proper business center as many of the amenities featured on the website are currently under construction and unavailable.
Posting this here because while I stayed in a private suite, the front desk is that of the hotel with unfriendly staff. Would not recommend. My family stayed in one of the private suites and booked through Agoda. I do not know if the owner together with Agoda is running a scam, but Agoda says I cancelled the booking while the property seems to have charged me some kind of no-show. My family most certainly stayed and we have photos to prove it. Agoda will not help me get a receipt and the property is impossible to contact. Unless either Agodo or the property resolves this, it gets 1 star, but should be zero stars.
I stood at Hotel Arya for about a week. I booked through Airbnb and I highly suggest booked from the 19th floor and up. The views are BEAUTIFUL! The hotel itself is very pretty and has a wonderful scent as soon as you enter. A couple things to look out for are the brochures at the front desk, a few things listed are outdated, and the addresses listed are incorrect. We drove to a car show that was listed and it didn't even exist per the worker at the arcade. We drove to an arcade vs the car show listed. The hotel is under construction so you will hear construction starting at 8:30am every WEEK day. We didn't mind as we were already up at that time but if trying to sleep in, it will be annoying. The pool is great but the guy asking your room number in front of everyone is kind of dangerous and should do it more privately. Location is great and free parking in Miami is a plus. Overall, I would stay again but in hopes the restaurant on site in up and running. Would love to order room service with a room view like that.
