I went to Sonic for the first time this evening and was excited to try, but I won't be returning. I ordered a grilled cheese and asked if they could add pickles. I'll give a star for that being done, but THIS was my "grilled" cheese. This is what I received. Not grilled. Almost no cheese. My husband wanted to order a burger, but they were out of burgers. I understand that we are in a shortage of many things, but a burger place that's out of burgers? If this is the kind of food you are to serve, well ... That's sad. I don't see myself returning a second time. This was just a very disappointing experience.
All food is very hot and delicious. We were order Cheeseburger, mozzarella sticks, soft pretzel twist, footlong quarter pound coneyno.7. Especially i loved mozzarella sticks. Because frying powder thin. Soft pretzel twist Just like the name so soft and taste good. It takes awhile for the food to come out. But every food is hot, so it's OK.
Food is average deep fried faire. Customer service wise they always get my order wrong somehow, this last time they gave me the wrong food, forgot something on my order, but then 3 separate times tried to bring someone else order to my car window when we were already eating.
Everytime we go here there is something missing or if we ask to add something they charge us for it but don't add it. One time I asked for no pickles on my burger and they put 10 pickles on it and it ruined the burger. Half the carhops don't work and it has been that way for several months. The employees are trying there best they are never rude just feel like they don't have any support. I really enjoy sonic but this store is lacking.
We tried ordering a couple of drinks on the app, but it said this location wasn’t taking mobile orders. Okay, no big deal, we’ll just go and order in person and hopefully they’ll honor the 1/2 off price from the app, right? No, they refused to give us the discount even though THEIR app wasn’t working. And then told us to wait while they looked into the app issue, and after 5 minutes of silence and then “hanging up” the stall we just left. Why is it so hard to find decent customer service these days?
Drove up to one of the spots and pushed the button. 20 minutes and no response. We decided to try the drive thru. Waited 10 min. just to be told to hold on, then waited another 5 min. Ordered 2 frozen lemonades. They tasted like water slushes. There was no flavor and they weren't even yellow in color. Big waste of money!
I wish I could give them a 0 star review. We show up to get the 50 cent corn dogs, well before closing time. The wait is easily 10 mins, and then we get to our turn, and they turn off their lights. So we wait, we call, and we pull up to the window, no answer. Eventually, a worker comes out confused and says that they close at 11 pm, they don't seem concerned at the wait time, and the amount of people behind us in line. This is about 11 mins before 11 PM that night. 0/5 for this location. At the date of this review, it says they are open till midnight, to note.
Food is fine if you don’t mind it cold. We regularly wait a minimum of 20 minutes in the drive thru line, and that feels fast! We went today on our way out of town, and after waiting for 15 minutes at the drive up space speaker with no one answering, we decided to just go through the drive thru. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, we left. There were only two cars in front of us—who knows what the hold up was. We thought about walking up to order, but there was trash everywhere. So gross! We went down the road to EZ’s. Better food, better customer service, and we were through the line with our food in under 10 minutes with a few cars in front of us!
This is the second time I've ever visited Sonic only because I grew up on Jack in the box McDonald's, burger King...etc .... And the second I came here, I had a sudden rush of memories and remembered how delicious this place is. Best ice cream ever! Their iced drinks are absolutely delicious! I enjoy my fries with ice cream. Sonic is my new favorite place to go now.
Or first and last time going here. We ask for a shake and some churros we went forward to pay and after we did they tell us that they don't have ice cream that we can get a slushy. After a few minutes waiting they tell us to move to a ordering stall because the slushy is not frozen that they will take it to us. They bring us the churros but not the slushy so we ask for a strawberry tea and they tell us that they don't have tea available, then we ask for lemonade they don't have any either. This was the worse experience I had with a fast food. Employees that don't know what they have available and still charge you.
