New Rochelle’s best kept secret! The bread is always fresh. I ordered for thanksgiving and the bread was still warm when I picked up! The bagels and cakes are always fresh, soft and delicious.

Used to buy all my cakes pies and cookies from here along with my breads got tired of paying top dollar for stale cakes and after spending $56.00 buying assorted mini cake pastries and a pie i asked for an extra bag so my mini pastries did not get crushed i was told if you want another bag its 25 cents! I was done .I now go to New Rochelle Bakery!

Best spot for bread around, so many varieties. All the other baked goods are also always fresh and delicious too. Lena is always friendly and helpful, makes stopping there an even more positive experience. Extra parking down the driveway if the street is full.

One of Westchester’s greatest treasures is the Bread Factory at 30 Grove Street in New Rochelle. They have phenomenal breads and my personal favorite is their cranberry walnut bread. They make them in various sizes including rolls that always seem as if they just came out of their ovens. I used to ply tennis at a nearby club and would make my weekly pilgrimages just to breathe in the amazing aromatic scents of freshly baked breads. They also have delicious pies, cookies and breadsticks! One Thanksgiving, I ordered footlong breadsticks that were a specialty item that they make for weddings and other events. I was concerned about them since the Coronavirus has changed the landscape of retail and wholesale businesses since I’m sure many of their restaurant customers are no longer ordering the quantities of their delicious breads and rolls. I was happy to find the bakery busy with new counters and presumably doing well since I’d consider The Bread Factory to be a truly ESSENTIAL business! It’s with a trip such to breath in the smell of fresh bread but it will be smarter to buy some and bring them home!

We desire good food, when it comes to bread, there should be no question, delicious crunch Italian baguette, or some wonderful semolina bread. Plus multi-grains, rolls, speciality breads, etc. Don't forget the dessert, cannoli, cakes, pastry, made for any occassion.

Italian bread is very good best I've found in Westchester. Had some pastries cannoli pre made, filling was good. The small black forest cakes were a hit with the family.

I ordered a chocolate cake with golden inside to be picked up at 10 o’clock on Mother’s Day. However when I got there at 10:20 it still wasn’t ready yet. I brought it to my family’s house and nobody liked it, They all said the icing tasted like a stick of butter not enough cocoa or sugar or chocolate I was very disappointed since a friend of mine brought the same cake to work last week and it was delicious. mine didn’t taste anything like hers. Maybe it was made in a hurry because they were busy for Mother’s Day……. …..

The up charge to butter the bread is excessive. From $1.20 to $3.79?
